First smoke shop ever in Portland. This place is awesome! We spent hours in here and Eric, guy who worked there, was awesome! What a hidden little gem. We will definitely return. Amazing prices, outstanding selection of everything!!!!

Well I needed a new pipe an basic stuff.. You have to use cash only! An you must wear a mask. It had only 2 people there. The gal was friendly an helped me with my needs. Guess that place has been open 50 years.this year. Some beautiful.smoking devices an hippy.fashion jewlrey tapestries.. My favorite shop in Portland. I would highly recommend this place. They have a large inventory here..

Always an interesting stop. Sales guy was friendly & helpfully enough. He was patient while I looked thru every single sticker. Eventually buying $14 worth.

The wounderful smells hit you first when u open the door.Its very clean with a friendly atmosphere.Great selection of goods.Some bongs and pipes are over priced.But all and all i have since the 70s been an avid customer and recamend it as a place to shop or just visit.

I drove a friend there to pick up a Red Bali mix apparently used for anxiety? I had never been at this establishment before but the friendly service Is a boon. WOW! They have a large selection of organized novelty AND tie dyes for Christmas gifts (and me?). I did not have time to shop, but I will be returning. Nora

The lady in this store was very nice, i don't often give tips but i decided I wanted to, I bought some red hulk and Manga da white. The white in low doses along with caffeine has helped my performance in work, as well as it on its own, the red one has helped for sleep very well and honestly I am super surprised, I took 0 grams and was nodding out and passed out. So if i take a moderate dose ill get a consistent sleep and nothing has worked even doctors medications. The prices are not to bad but i have had cheaper kratom but the quality of this place seems unbearable. The powder was so smooth compared to the spotty krstom I have seen.Also the pictures to this place are completely wrong. The place is way cooler inside.

I grew up going to HeadEast....It was always a favorite of mine, and a lot of other peoples as well. I am sad to say, I wish it had just closed. To see an oriental express/SMC junk store calling itself HeadEast is just wrong on sssooo many levels.Sad to say, but there goes another little piece of Portland's wonderful weird gone......
