Very cute little shop! Great place to stop in and grab some greeting cards for any occasion. The prices are pretty reasonable. Considering how much prices have gone up at larger stores, the prices here are practically the same. They also have some cute last minute gift items. I've always been able to find easy street parking within a block. Staff have been very friendly when I come in.

Visited the Yamhill location because I needed a super fast gift wrap, and Annie was great. Dropped off and done within 45 minutes. Even helped me pick out wrap and ribbon colors, since I’m basically illiterate with that stuff. Ended up looking great. Would definitely use again.

I don't know how they do it, but I feel like I can always walk in here and find exactly what I need. Their card selection is fantastic, as well as their stationary. Love having them in the neighborhood!

I LOVE this store! I ordered online for some friends and even during the holiday rush it got to them within two days! The products are great and especially love the local items. Plus they deliver with such adorable personalized touches!! Please support the this high quality local store!

Ecru Modern Stationer is a terrific stationery and gift store located in the Pearl District. It has been open since 2006 in the Sitka Building, which is located between The Fields Park and Tanner Springs Park. It is one of three locations. The other two stores are located in downtown Portland and at the South Waterfront. Ecru is a local woman owned business. Ecru sells a large selection of greeting cards, some made by local artisans. They also sell journals, calendars, candles, candy items, boxed note cards and Portland theme merchandise. Ecru sells postage stamps and offers gift wrapping service, which is free if you purchase the gift here. This location also offers printing service. The saleslady working today was very pleasant and helpful. Ecru is a great place to visit for all your stationery needs.
