Very professional staff. Clean quiet room.
I wish the City of Portland was safer and cleaner.
Rooms: Clean and quiet. Great water pressure in the shower.
Safety: The town of Portland is not safe especially at night, but if you can get to the hotel it is safe.
Walkability: There is a lot around the hotel but we didn't feel safe walking around Portland.

We got a room on the top floor and the view was great. Bed was clean, king size, and comfortable. The room gets a little chilly at night so you may want a heavy blanket. We asked the front desk for plastic cutlery for leftovers and they also offered to bring a microwave up to our room for us!

I was impressed from the moment I walked in. For the price I paid, what a steal! They gave me a soda when I checked in, had some apples and water for free, and checking in/getting to my room was a breeze. Easiest check in I've EVER experienced.
The room itself was extremely nice. The bathroom was wonderful and there was even a robe! The room had a safe, iron, and ironing board, mini fridge, coffee station, and a very nice desk by the window.
I experienced absolutely no issues during my stay and slept great.
I will absolutely be back to this hotel in the future and will be recommending it to friends.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Rooms are spacious (we had a corner room with a view), amenities are very good (liked the Peloton bikes for sure), the staff was friendly, the attached bar The Alder was convenient along with the $15 credit each day, no real complaints. Location is very good, although Portland, especially downtown has a VERY visible drug problem, so be aware if you are bringing the family. Didn't bother us, and that is not related to how much we enjoyed the hotel, just be aware the location is right in the middle of it. If we are back in Portland, this is a definite go back.

10/10! I don't remember the names, but we showed up Monday evening the 12th. The gentleman was my height, so around 6-2. Slightly darker completion. He was extremely helpful not only in our arrival but throughout my stay. He made us feel very comfortable but was not over the top. It just felt right. I'd have a drink with him anytime! The gentleman who took our bags up made sure we had the best room available when he found out it was my birthday. The desk attendant always greeted us coming in and out. In the morning of the 13th the valet was female, wearing a beanie. Super helpful as well. We hand full hands so she got each door for us and made special accommodations for our vehicle so we could have ease and convenience. We will be back because of the excellent service. Even the bar service was awesome. Higher end experience but not stuffy and not over priced. Evening and day bartender were fantastic.

The staff was exceptionally nice, adding a welcoming touch to our stay. The rooms, while showing some signs of wear, were updated and provided a cozy atmosphere. However, we experienced a mishap when the toilet in the adjacent empty room overflowed during the night, forcing us to change rooms. Despite this, both rooms were reasonably comfortable.A notable concern was the temperature on the first floor during winter, which was uncomfortably cold. This seemed to affect the staff too, who were noticeably trying to keep warm.Safety-wise, the rooms have windows that can be opened, so guests with pets or young children should be cautious. Additionally, I found it challenging to turn off the air (climate ) in our second room, resulting in constant white noise. The hotel offers convenient valet parking, a real plus in downtown settings, especially appreciated during winter storms. Its proximity to local shops and restaurants is a definite advantage, though availability may vary in extreme weather conditions.Overall, despite some drawbacks, the positive aspects of our stay make me willing to return. A warm shout-out to the staff for their efforts in chilly conditions! ?

Food and drinks: Bistro Brunch was authentic in atmosphere, Cozy, relaxed and perfect for my social gathering. FOOD was outstanding, I had the Croquet Americano brunch. Fabulous sauce, reminiscent of Benedict style with open artisan bread and exceptional bacon. My party talked a lot, and was never rushed by staff (who was very attentive! but not pushy!) Others had the Exotic French Toast, Omelets and the Creme Brulee was perfect ending. Thank you for a memorable afternoon.

Great little hidden gem. Upgrade to at least a corner room, worth it.
Rooms: Great corner room on the 18th floor. Much nicer than I thought it would be. Great shower. Lovely quirky art on the walls. Good lighting. Views are very nice, especially at night. No issues with my room whatsoever. Would book again for sure.
Walkability: Can walk everywhere. Just wish Portland did a little more for the homeless. They are taking over. Don’t walk alone at night.
Food and drinks: Portland is the place for food. Must go out and explore. The food and drinks at hotel are good, but better off eating outside.

Dossier is a fabulous hotel. Impeccably clean, very comfortable and safe. The staff were always so friendly especially Grant at check in and each afternoon when I saw him always had a pleasant and welcoming smile. My first visit to Portland was incredible and made only better by my stay at this hotel. 10/10 would recommend every time.
Rooms: Clean and spacious with comfortable beds and large washrooms.
Walkability: As close to everything as you could want to be.
Food and drinks: Had breakfast in the hotel two mornings and both times, delicious.
