I wanted to wait a full month before I gave my review because I think the sign of a great haircut is NOT how amazing it is when you leave (DUH), but how amazing it is every day after you leave (WOW). I consulted many friends and colleagues who all gave me their salon faves and why, but I loved what my one friend said about A-List 'they listen, they take their time, and they do it right.' WOW! I met with Dosia on 12/20/2023 and surrendered my ultra-long, ultra-shapeless hair that badly needed...something? I wanted low maintenance but to keep the length. Give me a great style, but show me how to do it myself without a million products. She was absolutely amazing! Not only did she give me expert tips on styling my new look, but hair care tips (sleep on a silk pillow to protect your tresses, ladies!), and product recommendations without the pressure to purchase anything. Oh, and even my new pup was welcomed like an A-List Celebrity! Finally, it was so refreshing to find a salon and a stylist who wasn't dismissive because I wasn't laying down the Benjamins for dramatic cuts/colors/products (like so many stylists), - she really saw me as a beautiful person who needed expert care without the BS. HIGHLY RECOMMEND A-LIST AND EVEN MORE, DOSIA!

I have been going to Liz Lafferty for a year now and have always been thrilled with her work. She is kind, welcoming, professional, collaborative, skilled, and just gets the exact results I wanted. She always listens to what I'm asking for, delivers that, and offers welcome suggestions and advice around how we can get the best results that hold up beautifully. I always feel great walking out of the appointment. A-List is always a nice space, with a professional and nice vibe. Highly recommend.

I've been going to Bradley Coy for years now, and followed him to this salon. I am always, always, always happy with his cuts and color services. He is exceptionally detail oriented and always makes sure that we are on the same page before starting. He is extremely educated about hair, and never steers me wrong. I've been through a few different haircuts, bang styles, and color variations at this point, and he always nails it. Plus, he is just a delight of a human being. Always look forward to seeing him! The best.

Bradley is the best! I am never disappointed after my visit.I'm not a fan of downtown/pearl district, but the salon itself has a lot of charm. My favorite is the shampoo room.I highly recommend!

Been seeing Dosia for years for cuts and have ventured into coloring (balayage and ombré) for the first time with her. I trust her skill and aesthetic completely and have never been disappointed in a cut, color, or style. One of the kindest and caring people you’ll ever meet and she’s been patient in teaching me how to style my hair as someone who fumbles through being feminine. Great studio, awesome employees, and prices match their value. If you want quality styling, come to A-List!

I really wanted it to work out. I made an appointment and they accepted. I sent a photo 3 days before my appointment of what I was hoping to have done and then they told me they wouldn't do it and canceled my appointment instead of maybe working through other options. It's also unfortunate timing because we have all been enduring a pandemic and I was hoping for a little kindness. They don't care about their clients.
