Paid over 100 dollars to enroll in a basics-level dog training course. The trainer was a no show on one occasion, canceled last minute on several other occasions, and the Petco itself never provided a replacement when she went on leave (or so they told us). Still waiting to hear from management about a refund despite being told they were reaching out. Very flaky. Just go to a local, privately owned pet store, these guys don't respect their customers at all.

Dirtiest bathroom I’ve ever been in. This is a reflection on how the store is ran. Maybe they are short staffed. However it doesn’t take long to clean.

I finally desided to check this store out because of hearing how great it is , I was not super impressed the first time I visited, I was disappointed on the selection that was available at the time, I don't think it had been stocked in a very long time ,I wanted to get new toys for my fur babies and check out treats, collars ect but There was nothing to out on the shelves but it was in middle of the day during mid week , so I desided to come back at a diffrent time the next trip was better but The I was still disappointed in the selection of treats ,and they are spread out over many isal's so it made it confusing to see what they exactly had available and the prices were more then other pet stores that I have shoped at,the collars they had were super expensive and again not stocked the best , I did buy my babies food there but it was supposed to be a great sale but it was about 5 dollars more then what I normally pay elsewhere, but they were very nice and was able to find a few other deals that made the trip worth it and the 2 / 5 $toys they had in a bin up front was fun. I would like to try to take my Boys to the groomers Because of the good reviews..

Had a wonderful experience with Sheryl R! Took my 9 month old Standard poodle in for grooming, we were behind on his grooming so I knew it would be a more difficult appointment. She was very understanding and so thorough! She explained everything clearly and in detail. She was so kind and helpful! And she did an amazing job and took the time to make sure I was satisfied and gave some suggestions to help with his next appointment!

I love Petco for items for my cat. They have a large selection of accessories from iguanas all the way to fish and more! Fair prices and all around good customer service.

I don’t normally do this but this is the 3rd time that the employee named Maureen has been very rude to me, my partner, and my dog. I also have spoken to the manager about this the last time this happened and clearly it didn’t help. My dog was getting her nails done in grooming and I went to pay during. Every time Maureen is suppose to be doing her job cashing me out she makes comments about when my dog barks. My dog wasn’t even near us at this time I might add. But she heard her bark when my boyfriend went and got her from the groomer to take out to the car. Maureen multiple times now has been rude about my dog barking. She’s a dog last time I checked that’s how they communicate. If she can’t handle a dog bark then she shouldn’t be working at pet co or near animals. It is not her job to put her input on my dog, she works the cash register. It has made me so uncomfortable to just go to my local pet co. It’s not okay. Pet co at Medford, Oregon.. you need to teach your employees to be polite to customers, and teach them boundaries!!

Things you should know before shopping at Petco, in 2019 one of the beds they sold me killed my parrott, I contacted them several times about it and they blew me off. I have bought a flea collar a couple weeks ago from them by Soresto (there is a lawsuit against them and the EPA right now I found out for death and injury) and its causing injury to our cat, see images. I wrote them a review once before and they had google remove it. You should also do your research for the products online before you actually go into the store. The products online are cheaper, sometimes WAAAAY cheaper, for example I grabbed all this stuff quickly for a stray we were taking in that night so couldnt look online or price shop due to time, then low and behold when i did find time to compare, I found our ezbreeze litter box was over 10% cheaper online, and they other one they offered was almost 50% cheaper. . We live in a small town so we have limited pet supply places.

Cat litter was waiting for me and I had the $10 off $30 special which made me very happy. We love the World's Best Litter made from corn! No dust, no leaving scratch marks on my wood floor and superb clumping!

Just had the worst experience with Maureen. She called me a terrible dog owner.Extremely long line at least 15 minute wait Bc there was only one register for card paying customers. And she was the one running that specific register that was causing the long wait time in the first place.I asked her to continue her job Instead of judging me. I have a malumute dog of course he’s panting.Get to work Maureen.

I really like the lady who helped me. She reassured me how older cats start to lose their sense of smell, and suggested pouring a little tuna water over the cat food to entice my cat. He loves the food!

We've been going here for over two years for our dogs baths. We've never had to spend over $25 for a bath and they charged us $50 today. They made us sign our papers as per usual, we mentioned multiple times we just wanted a bath. They added something called a "Hydrate and Restore" onto our bill. The lady at the register was upset she had to talk to the groomer about it and came back. She said the groomer explained it in detail to me but she would remove the charge. I asked both of them what a "Hydrate and Restore" is and neither would tell me what it was, just dismiss it as "we removed it from the bill it's fine". I had to go home and search it on their website that it's literally a specialized bath for dogs with itchy skin. So they tried to charge me for two baths on the same bill.

Don’t order online for curbside delivery. If you get stuck with the lazy female employee I’m sorry. When you call in to say you’re there, she will just hang up on you because she don’t want to do the work. When you go inside to get your stuff, she will just lie to you and act like it wasn’t her even when it’s just her and one male employee working. She also doesn’t know how to use the store tablet for processing online orders. Incapable and rude!
