My 54 Belair is very hard to find parts for. They are very kind and knowledgeable. They are amazing at contacting me when the can't ship on time.
As for me they will have all my business.

*update* I mentioned that we could have probably buffed it, but after our interaction Steve, I wanted to return it. I've ordered plenty of reproduction stainless before, and I disagree scratches are to be expected. You brushed it off like it was nothing and wanted someone else to fix the problem. instead, you should have made the situation right, or at least volunteered a replacement. You never said imperfections are common when I was there. Maybe I've just been lucky with my past chrome and stainless purchases. Never once did you say, if it doesn't clean up, bring it back. I'm very articulate when it comes to conversations, or lack thereof. I'll ordered another one, and if it has imperfections I will humbly update this post. I honestly don't think you understand the real issue wasn't the small scratches. I quote " Well, you not talking to him now, you're talking to me, and I'm the owner." I was very aware of the situation and with who I was speaking with Steve, and that was the definition of condescending.Customer service needs some improvement. I spent 70 dollars more here to support a local business . Item had scratches. Probably could have been buffed out, but went back in for a second opinion.Owner was very unwelcoming, cold, short, pompous, and very Unappreciative of my business. Failed to rectify the situation, and wanted me to figure it out. Never said hello, thank you, not even a good buy. After leaving, I reflected on the interaction . It's been a long time since I've been treated that way, especially after spending almost 1k. I decided to walk back in and return the item for a full refund. I honestly did that because I personally didn't want to give him a dime of my money., especially after that interaction. What an odd experience.

I have a 1932 Vauxhall VY Cadet which is English but also General Motors. I believed that a Chevrolet water pump would fit and Steve helped me to select a 1929 Chevrolet sealed bearing water pump.By carefully measuring both pumps a direct fit was obtained first time and international delivery took only 6 days.My old pump was so worn the car vibrated so I am really noticing the smooth bearings now.I will definitely be using The Filling Station again and will recommend to others as well.

Helped me to select the correct Chevrolet water pump for my 1932 Vauxhall. Most people would back out of that straight away but Steve helped me check all the dimensions and explained the difference between different years and models. The correct pump was sent from USA to UK in 6 days from ordering to driving again. 5 star service
