133 SW 2nd Ave, Portland“The staff here is always super sweet - The last time I visited, the person at the register overheard my friend and I talking about Quagsire. They asked if we were fans and went to the back to bring out a Quagsire plush that wasn’t on display yet. This made my day and I really appreciate the staff here always going the extra mile :D cutest selection of trinkets and collectibles eva!!”
“We love Hammer & Jacks! We adore Jillian. She has been a huge part of our lives ever since she welcomed us in for a new parent support group back in 2018. Not only was her vision of becoming a community hub and staple something that I could get behind as a FTM but over the years all of her support in helping to get my littles through their developmental milestones with thoughtful toy and activity recommendations have been invaluable! She also was LIFESAVER during the pandemic, doing toy and balloon deliveries and truly bringing love and light into our home. But since the new location opened with all the fun activities (our favorites being Toddler Art and Books & Bubbles) and playscape, our littlest human has grown to wake up Wednesday mornings to ask for "toy store & bagels"-- his idea of the perfect day.If you are looking for a wealth of knowledge on toy recommendations and fun ways to reimagine play... shop local and stop in and visit Hammer & Jacks!”
“Hey, there's this cool shop called the Brickdiculous Shop & Gallery. They've got a bunch of unique and awesome Legos and Lego stuff. The people who work there are really friendly too. It's a great place to take your kids or even go shopping for yourself. If you're looking for new Lego sets to build, you should definitely check it out.”
“Stopped in to check out this store because it's on my commute. Some with the owner who was super friendly. They have about 6 tables which could host about 12 players and the shop is mostly TCG focused. They also have items which would make great general nerdy gifts.”
“I have gone here for last 26 years. Always holds up in quality and service. It’s definitely worth the trip to multnomah village. Nice selection of legos, play mobile, trains, dolls, it feels good being in here and kid friendly”

9410 SW Washington Square Rd K11, Tigard“Helpful store with a great pick a brick wall. They really keep the wall stocked at all times. Store was busy on a Thursday afternoon so not everything was in stock. But they still checked in back for what I was looking for. Staff was very nice. Would recommend shopping here.”
“Beanstalk has some frustratingly limited hours, making it difficult to patronize on the regular (especially during the work week!), but when you do manage to get in the door, there's some fantastic treasures to be found here. Although it is primarily a consignment children's clothing store, you'll also find no shortage of wonderful, analog toys to plant the seeds of imagination in your little ones, in the hope that they'll sprout into clever, intelligent, fully-functioning, not-screen-addicted adults! This must be a conscious choice, because I could find nary an electronic device anywhere in the shop! Big kudos from me on that point alone! As for the clothing, let's just say, you're spoilt for choice. While some of the items are a little on the pricier side than I would like for a consignment shop, the quality of the clothing here is impeccable: clean, well-organized, and a healthy variety of sizes and styles. Everything you could need for any age, from newborn and toddler, up through the early grade school years: shirts, pants, dresses, hats, coats, shoes (TONS of shoes!), costumes, and all sorts of accessories! There's also a small selection of baby stuff in the back, including cribs, swings, and a host of different devices that I have no clue as to their function, but will assuredly be learning about them in the coming months (my wife is due next month)! In the last year, I have come to learn that shopping for a new child sucks, mostly because there is a dearth of places that have any quantity of clothing and accessories, outside of the big box stores, which I would prefer not to frequent, if possible. Thankfully, Beanstalk is here to pick up the slack, but you DO have to make an effort to get here during operating hours, particularly if you work during the week: Saturday (from 10am to 5pm) is your only real available option.”
“Organized, well stocked and incredibly neat and clean. Exceptionally friendly staff that encouraged us to play with their displayed RC cars. They engaged in conversation with my child about all the features and mods. That being said, there's really something for everyone. This shop covers all age levels, skill levels, and a real gem when it comes to rare items to find. I spent a lot of time here and will definitely be back. The prices are not outrageous either.”
“Extremely helpful staff, a store full of parts products and ideas for the hobbyist. From radio control boats cars and planes. Model kits. Model trains all sizes. Slot car tracks also in stock. And it's a local business.”

4390 SW Lloyd Ave, Beaverton“A Beaverton landmark. This is such great place to get comic books. The toy selection is definitely geared towards adults, with an impressive selection of hot toys. The toys are somewhat pricey, so kids will struggle to find something to suit their tastes. Glad to find a place that carries Heroclix.”
“Always love going here it may be at a higher price, but you are supporting local businesses. Please support this toy store we were once a kid, and let's keep this store open forever.”
“This is THEEE best place for vintage toys. The owner is knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The more you look around the more you'll see, so make sure to visit each case more than once. Buy local from a dedicated collector.”

“We bought a Gear Bot for our school. Our Gear Bot remote control did not work, so we called the Lake Oswego store to ask what we should do with the toy that wasn't working. The person on the phone treated us great. She was kind and very helpful. We took it back to the store and they helped us exchange it right away. Thank you!”
