Longtime berry picker -- I am so excited to return to Wilinda Blueberries every summer for buckets upon buckets of easy-to-pick delicious berries.

We visited the Wilinda Blueberry Patch as part of the "Fruit Loop" on 6/23/16. The patch had just opened for the season earlier that week. The bushes were full of ripe berries and they were so easy to pick. The berries were sweet and delicious. We only picked $4 worth of berries, what we could eat immediately. The owner was walking around asking us if we had any questions. She let us know we could eat the blueberries right away because they weren't sprayed and they were grown naturally. We visited on a Thursday and there was only one other woman picking berries. I really enjoyed this quick stop. I don't mind picking my own fruit when it is this easy and enjoyable.

I used to come here all the time for my yearly supply of blueberries but she made a comment that I perceived as racist and I will never return ever again. She said that she could "say things like that" since her daughter is married to a Latino man but there is NO excuse for racism.

It's for real! No spraying, no plastic and just good fun.

I love coming to Wilinda's. It is an awesome experience for my family. This small patch is pretty much in the middle of town. My twins get a bucket each and I get my own. This was a breakthrough for my little boy, before coming here, he would refuse to eat blueberries. Now he can't get enough. I puts more in his belly than in the bucket. We go up and down the rows grabbing the darkest berries and at the end we take them up front to the lady in charge and pay for our loot. I always pay a few dollars more than what they tell me, because the twins eat quite a bit while picking the blueberries. Maybe it would be best for them to weigh my twins before and after the picking.
