Gear, clothes, water and wind toys to select from abound at Big Winds! The only thing more memorable is the great service and attention from the team. We always feel like family whether we're together in the store or sharing the stoke on the river.

Easy location to find. Rented E-Bikes today for a family outing. The staff are very friendly and we’re able to help with getting everyone’s seat adjustments. We were given instructions on how to gear change, bike power assist settings before leaving the parking lot. Excellent day for a ride! Will use them again.

Super friendly and helpful shop! I went in there looking for unique footstrap bolts that I couldn't find anywhere. They didn't have them in stock, but they took some from the box of a new board and sold me those so I didn't have to wait and order them.

I had a problem with a board I ordered through big winds. Customer service was awesome- they corrected the situation quickly. I’ve purchased most of my winging quiver through them and I’ve always been satisfied. I recommend them highly.

Fantastic! The crew here helped me get into windsurfing even being down i5 a bit with shipping and the like. Found them by accident when purchasing a new Goya to start on a few years back through distro. Hit them up! Eddy and the gang are stellar and their shop is neon eye candy.

I took an eFoil lesson from Big Winds. Everything I needed was provided: really nice equipment, wetsuit, helmet, PFD, perfect conditions and venue, great instructor (Tre). At age 68, I had some reservations, but the whole experience turned out to be a blast. The private lesson seemed kind of expensive ($350 for two hours) but this turned out to be a case of "you get what you pay for." Also, Big Winds is very easy to deal with in terms of how they handle details like scheduling, and rescheduling or refunds if a lesson is cancelled due to weather (if need be). Their 48 hour cancellation policy seems fair. I recommend the eFoil lesson from Big Winds for everyone who wants to try this new sport.

These team has been around the industry from the beginning, they pack probably the most experience in all the sports they service. Just let them know what are your goals and let them do the rest, from classes, to gear, to traveling. they hold your best interest. Best service always!

By far the best shop in the Pacific Northwest for all water sports and E bike needs. The GM TJ and his staff are awesome, He is always ready to help, very knowledgeable and just a great guy overall. It’s a pleasure dealing with Big Winds in Hood River. By the way I LOVE my new quiver of duotone SLS kites.Highly recommend.

TJ and the entire crew at Big Winds are simply the best in their business. Their breadth of knowledge of all thing watersports in the Gorge is amazing and their customer service is second to none. Whether it is for windsurfing equipment, kiting gear, wing foiling, e-foiling, wake foiling or SUP this is the place to buy your gear. They are always willing to give you advice and guide you to the right equipment and it is awesome to be able to walk into a retail store and see so many options in stock. If you cannot make it to Hood River their website is easy to use for on-line ordering and they are quick to ship out orders. They are definitely carrying on Steve's legacy of great customer service and it is appreciated immensely. Keep up the great work everyone!
