“I signed up for personal training about 2 months ago with Borce, and I'm already feeling better, dropped 5lbs, gained 2lbs of muscle. The trainers are all super supportive and keep the workouts varied enough that you don't get bored. This gym is a great facility with enough equipment, and since it's quite a small gym, the wait for equipment is non-existent.Technically it's open 24/7, so if you don't like crowds, this is the place to be!”

“Loving the small class size and focus on weightlifting. The trainers really help with form. This is a great gym in general, but especially for anyone new to CrossFit and weightlifting!”

“Very nice gym. Awesome owner as well! If you live in the area, this gym is a must. I'm a guy who likes to get the job done, go in and then get out fast. And from my recent 2 month experience, its been just like that.”

“Best gym around, hands down. Super knowledgeable coaches (even one L3 CrossFit certified), super nice and welcoming community and the programming is top notch: always well balanced, always challenging, never boring. “I’ve been a part of the CrossFit Reedville community since July 2023, and I can confidently say that it’s nothing short of extraordinary. Let me break down why this gym deserves all the accolades:Top-Notch Trainers (TN): The trainers here are more than just fitness experts; they’re motivators, educators, and genuine supporters. Their personalized attention during workouts ensures that you’re not just lifting weights but also building a stronger, healthier version of yourself.Positive Vibes Everywhere: As soon as you step through those doors, you’re enveloped in an atmosphere of positivity. The camaraderie among fellow members is infectious, and it’s hard not to feel inspired by everyone’s dedication and hard work. Results Speak Louder: I’ve personally witnessed incredible transformation here. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned athlete, the workouts are tailored to challenge you at your level. And guess what? The results are tangible—from not being able to do a single pull-up when I started, I am able to string 10-15 in a row; overall, I feel stronger, and more energetic,Community Bonding: It’s not just about reps and sets; it’s about forging connections. The friendly faces, the fist-bumps after a killer WOD, and the shared victories create a sense of belonging. You’re not just a member; you’re part of a fitness family. In summary, Reedville isn’t just a gym; it’s a lifestyle. If you’re serious about your fitness journey, look no further. I wholeheartedly recommend CrossFit Reedville to anyone seeking a supportive, results-driven, and downright awesome place to break a sweat.Kudos to the entire team! “Ascension Fitness has been a great place for this busy working mom to place a priority on health and wellness! There are several training classes available throughout the day, and I wasn’t intimidated as a gym “newbie”. Kelli leads each training class; providing extensions and modifications so each “champion”,as trainees are called, has their fitness needs met. Training sessions are small group format, and introductions are a big component of what gives this gym a comfortable feeling of family. I’m so glad I made a choice to walk in the door of Ascension Fitness for the accountability, nutrition counseling, and guidance with proper weight lifting technique.”

“Visiting from out of town, and this location was so great! Excellent coach (s/o to willie!) who was very kind but also encouraging to give it your all. Front desk staff were also great! Big lobby and plenty of lockers. Parking was a little confusing at first, but I was able to get 2 hours of free parking in the little garage off of Cherry and Orenco Station Loop.”

“I can't recommend this gym enough! If you love OTF or Barry's but want to support a local business, this is the place for you. Not only do they offer guided circuit and strength classes led by exceptional trainers, you also have wonderful yoga class and cycling, all under one roof. While attending classes at Meraki, my confidence in running increased dramatically and my partner and I both got noticeably stronger! The environment, staff, and the members are friendly and supportive.”

“Alex is the best! After finally emerging from decades of lower back problems, I went to Alex with a goal of re-strengthening and introducing some long-missed activities back into my life - backpacking, gardening, tying my shoes, etc. His approach has been highly tailored to my needs, adaptable to my occasional physical setbacks and he always keeps it new and enjoyable. The best part of working with Alex is his ability to help me through the times when I don't understand why my body may be feeling weak or seems like I'm verging on back issues again. He's highly professional and really takes the time to get to understand what you need. I couldn't possibly recommend him any more highly as a personal trainer!”

“It is a very welcoming gym. I'm usually put off by gym experience. I'm heavier but trying to get healthy. They have no tolerance for body shaming. I go with both teenagers and a grandma that's almost 80. They are very helpful and even offer a trainer to get you going and do classes at no extra cost. Very affordable and lots of perks.”

“As a Nexus resident for close to two years and counting, I strongly feel that the complex is getting a raw deal on this site. This is one of a large number of apartment complexes in the Orenco Station area, and I assume that the main audience for these reviews is people who are moving to this area and deciding between those complexes. Good news for those people: all of the negative reviews about parking and towing are irrelevant to you! If you live here, you can park here, and your friends, with one of the two passes you get, can park here too. When I got a job in Hillsboro, I looked at all the apartments between the Max stop and New Seasons. The first thing I noticed was that Vector and Hub 9 had the highest reviews; the second thing I noticed was that neither apartment is air conditioned. Priorities may vary between residents, but for me, no air conditioning in a city with many 90-plus-degree summer days is an instant deal breaker. Those buildings look pretty, but that's useless to those of us who want to live comfortably in our apartments during summer. Nexus is air conditioned, which moved it to the top of my list. I've been happy with Nexus the entire time I've lived here. The office staff is friendly. The fire alarms you'll read about in the reviews here haven't been a problem in my experience - I have heard them go off in other Nexus buildings (never in my building), but during summer I hear fire alarms go off in the other apartment complexes across the street even more often. The apartments are spacious - they don't have the fancy interior design of a couple other nearby buildings, but when you bring friends over, they'll still say, "Nice place." Rent does increase every time I renew my lease, but this is standard throughout Orenco Station and I don't count it as a negative against Nexus. Among other positives, the maintenance staff regularly responds to requests on weekends, there is valet trash pickup, and the location between the Max and New Seasons is incredible. Above all, I'd advise those shopping for a place to rent in the Orenco area to look beyond the average star rating and look at the specific pros and cons of each place. For me, the decision was easy.”

“Been a member for over 2 years and really enjoy the workouts. The gym is clean, bright and not crowded most of the time. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable ( esp Israel) and always willing to assist you if you need it. A few televisions and clocks would be nice additions.”

“They let me have energy drinks from the fridge, as long as I gave them something to keep and paid them back later. Great service, and good people who workout here. I definitely recommend”
