“Very happy! Quick and friendly! I couldn't find pepperoni that didn't have dht in it, but I knew the carried before and Josh helped my mom and I. They had just a few left. We are super thankful and now we can make our pizza. Shout out to Josh and his friendliness, helpfulness, and patience, for our pepperoni fiasco. 10/10 happy”

“I had a very pleasnt shopping experience here. I came in and the owner asked me if I had been there before, then when I said I hadn't, but I was looking for something he immediately helped. He explained what different sweets they had and what the flavours were. When my sister and I got to the counter with our stuff, he gave us a candy each just like that.Overall it was a welcoming store and the owner was kind.”

“Had to evacuate from the Riverside Fire to my brother's place & this was the closest store around. Visited every other day for 2 weeks & the place was always clean & stocked. The owners were always right there to take care of ya. Thanks for the hospitality!”

“My favorite grocery outlet. It's bigger on the inside, clean & super well stocked with all kinds of goodies. Ample parking lot that's also clean with friendly& awesome people who work there. They've got such a wide variety of items. I highly recommend this location over any of the other ones I've visited.”

“I prefer this location to both of the ones on SE Powell and SE 82nd. It has a very large parking lot, the store is quite large, and it has the same great Winco prices. Of course that means debit or cash only.”

“Love this place, wish I'd gone to check it out sooner. It's never crowded, the employees are all super nice and helpful, and their prices are actually great somehow and better than other places like Fred Meyer or New Seasons for some things I'd never guess at, like Oatly and Rebbl products.”

“I perused this store and was surprised to see such a variety of items. This is a hit or miss place for what you might be looking for, but the prices seem pretty good. The food and grocery items are to the left side, on the right side is a lot of misc items from furniture, clothing, tools, toys, seasonal, to household items.Just be aware, this store is like a treasure hunt and I think every week could have different items on the shelves. There is a nice parking lot and street parking.”

“The woman who owns this shop deserves to be the one stop-shop convenience store for everyone in the area. She is very polite, and if you want your money to go to a local instead of a chain, this is your spot.”

“This neighborhood store has been open for a very long time. Old time rural atmosphere that is stocked with most things you might run out of. A real "Convenience Store" for locals.”

“I've been there a couple times since I moved down here closer to work, I go there a couple times a week to get something for my lunch for work or getting snacks and every time I've been there I've seen a man or woman, I believe the man I see is the boss(just guessing) and other I see is his sister or wife(not sure on the relationship) but they are super nice and polite ?, I keep coming back.”

“Stumbled upon this gas station on the way to mount hood. That had what we needed (regular unleaded gasoline - 87 octane). The attendant was all smiles in the sun.”

“I love this location . My only complaint is the hot food here , last time I got a small piece of wood cooked in my corn dog . And today the fried chicken I got was under cooked , if they could improve in that area it would be great .! I still love to shop here for produce and so on.”

“Edit: I am changing my review to a 5 star after coming in and discovering both available bakery items and the self checkouts available in the early morning. Thanks so much for listening! It was a really nice surprise to be able to buy the products I like through self checkout. I'll be back often!!Safeway Bakery has made the business decision to leave their display cases empty until 4 hours after opening time on a daily basis. They also keep their self checkout lanes closed during the early morning hours. Folks coming in after a long overnight shift like myself do not appreciate or want the forced social interaction. I work overnights for a reason.”

“I have lived by this mini mart for 6 years. They have always been kind to me no matter what. There have been so many times that I was short and they just waved it off, and given me free candy for my children when they were with me. I’m very happy to have a go-to place like this. They’re amazing.”

“It's a neighborhood market so it's not a full Walmart. This store seems to be understaffed but now that i can check out myself it's ok. I love both areas of self check out. This store is always fairly clean and most of the time even the restrooms are good. Their shelves are, like many others, often not fully stocked. Maybe i always go at inopportune times... but thankfully I'm 6' and can reach the top shelf where i literally have gotten the things i need that are not in their normal places. Literally has nearly everything you need for the household. No clothing this is, again, not a full market. But they do have a nice selection of sugar free items. Truly impressed with that. Strange comment but they also carry jumbo eggs which i prefer and i love the everything but the bagel loaf of fresh baked bread. Their grocery area is pretty good and you can get some ok fresh produce deals. All toiletries are typically available or on the top shelf. When you go to the areas that requires an attendant they typically come quickly. The pharmacy is good and very helpful. I've returned some things that i ordered online and never had a problem as the customer service was always good. Definitely a good store to have close....”

“I definitely appreciate the ability to shop for groceries online in the comfort of my own home. In the time of my choosing. Then you simply choose a time to go pick up my groceries from the Walmart neighborhood market is convenient and just a fantastic experience. There are times when items are out of stock and substituted for similar items.I appreciate the ability to Not enter the store and still get groceries.”

“Good selection and good prices. They have been adding new products throughout out the store lately, which is always nice. I feel like quite a few of them must be a limited time or supply but overall a great grocery store”

“Overall: I grew up going to Safeway as a kid and still depend on it as my primary source for groceries. Having recently moved to Gresham, the size and selection of options from this location put the others to shame. Location: You can call this location somewhat hidden if you're coming from Powell. If you're coming from southeast Portland on Powell, make sure to turn right immediately after the T-Mobile store and if you miss it, the right turn on Highland works too but you might need to wait for the light. Service: I have never had a problem with this location - everyone is always friendly.”
