I went in because the battery was dying in my key fob for my car. I was anticipating a long wait and steep price. Less than $30 and 3 minutes later I have a brand new battery and no problems. Thank you Batteries plus! Great service, great prices. I will be back. Great alternative to the dealership prices!

This was one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever dealt with over a 5.99 dollar battery. It would not go into my fob. This is an obsolete 2006 fob. You can't buy one. I brought in a mn21 23DURACELL.They had a store brand equivalent I asked for a micrometer to measureThe employee in front brought out employee that could only be described rude. He was sarcastic took it the fob put it together but it didn't clip and wouldn't work. He Had a micrometer in back and would not bring it out and measure. It did measure out the same at O'riely's and I did get it back together securely so it works. Bald guy says I can write whatever I want. Rude lady in the back said I was the problem because I didn't believe their word. I was trying to ensure it would not break my fob. I worked on subs and know you don't force delicate things together. This was the worst customer service ever. Condescending sarcastic even grabbed their 5 dollars micro screwdriver and won't let tighten up the fob. Corporate you can do better than the management in this store..

My experience with the Grants Pass store today was nothing but wonderful. I bought a pkg of D Cell batteries from Dustin I believe, got home put the batteries in the item I bought them for, and couldn't get it to work. I called the store to see if I brought the item and the batteries in could they see if they could get it work. Oh boy Dustin was awesome he got it to work! He went the extra step to clean the battery leads. It really breaks my heart when I find a place of business with such great customer service employees . To know that they are falling on hard times due to staffing shortages. I hope we don't loose our batteries plus store. Thank you again for your wonderful service in helping me today.

Grants pass store has the worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with. The red head manager is a weasel and will make any excuse not to take back your bad brand new battery.

Horrible Experience. Will never purchase from this company again.In early summer I purchased 2 6 volt batteries for my trailer. They were wired in series to create the 12v operating system. They were kept in this configuration throughout the summer and allowed to float charge as the trailer remained plugged in to shore power when not in use and only required fluid top off one time, using distilled water. Fast forward 6 months and now one battery has completely failed, down to 0 volts, while the other battery has maintained at 6.3 volts.I also made a purchase of a 12v agm battery to run a small generator. Upon receiving the battery and the technician placing the fluid in, he stated the battery should be up to voltage in 40 minutes. After placing the battery in the generator and traveling to camp I attempted to start the generator. It had be several hours since purchased. The battery was dead. I attempted to charge the battery over several days and I could never get the battery to come up to voltage and start the generator.I attempted a warranty claim on both batteries.For the newly purchased generator battery they said it failed their test but unfortunately there was not warranty on the battery. They were however going to replace it as it was a recent purchase....as one would assume they should.As for the RV battery they offer a 1 year warranty and I am being told that due to my assumed negligence, they will not offer a warranty. Since the battery came in at 0 volts and they were not able to raise the voltage in the store they don't consider it a defect and are placing the liability on me...all awhile the other battery that was purchased at the same time in the same system, with the same usage and recieved the same care works just fine.They have lost a customer for life and please be weary of making your own purchases as you to may be subject to assumed neglect in care.

actual business hours don't match web. needed a car battery on a Sunday. their web site says open sundays but sign on door says different. second time they've screwed me. first time they told me they had a battery in stock but it was wrong type. just "leave a message" on machine, no store hours or 'we're closed. ' do you want to do business with people that can't even set up a voicemail message?

Two extremely nice, polite, congenial men (without name tags, so I can't tell you who they are) helped me with my phone, charged less than I anticipated, and gave me advice on other areas of concern and use of the phone recharging system. The phone was ready when they said it would be. No equivocating. I'll go back and will recommend the store to others. A+ for customer service.

You probably think every Batteries+Bulbs store is the same. That's what I thought and I was wrong. It really is worth the extra 35 minutes to go to the store in Medford. Here's what happened to me: I went online to get a replacement battery for my Mercedes Sprinter. I ordered the battery and scheduled an installation at the Grants Pass store, which is 90 minutes from where I live on the coast. They offered appointments up until 6:00 PM, but I took a 5:00 PM appointment because I didn't want to be showing up around closing. With everything paid for, I jump-started my car and started the long drive. About halfway there, I decided that, just for safety's sake, I should call the store and talk to a real person. The person I got on the phone told me "Well, we might be able to install it at 5:00, but I wouldn't bet on it. He's got to leave around 5:00. He's got other obligations. Your odds are a lot better around 4:30." "Odds? Betting on it? I have an appointment," I explain. "And I'm driving an hour-and-a-half to get there." "Well, then you should probably come in tomorrow. Tomorrow we can definitely do it for you." So I turned around and went home. In the morning, I jump started the car again and drove 90 minutes to Grants Pass. At the store I was told "Oh, that battery gets installed under the floor mat? Yeah, we don't do those. I could still sell you the battery though." At this point I was ready to give up completely on Batteries+Bulbs, but just out of curiosity I tried buying the battery and scheduling an installation at the Medford store. No problem, they could do it in an hour. When I showed up at the store, they took my vehicle in right away. They had the battery I ordered and started the installation. Turns out the battery that the website had been recommending for my vehicle all of this time was the wrong one. No problem, they had the correct one in stock (bigger and a little bit more money, but ok). I was in and out of there in 30 minutes with the right battery and a great service experience. What a difference! So definitely avoid the store in Grants Pass, and go the extra few miles to Medford where they will actually take care of you.

I came in regarding my vehicle key FOB. The woman working the store that day was extremely helpful, even taking my key apart trying to determine the problem and taking the time to print for me a lot of helpful info. Great experience. Will definitely use this store in the future.

I would have scored the business five stars for ease of ordering online, but knocked off one because their issue with staff availability, that means they are closed on the weekend, is not reflected on their web site and cost me a fruitless trip only to read the notice to that effect on the shop door.Other than that hiccup I liked the online system that directed me to the correct replacement battery for my VW Jetta. I called on the Monday as soon as they opened and was able to pick up the battery immediately. Staff were friendly and handled the core refund without issues later the same day.
