Came on a work retreat and was able to bring my husband and toddler along for the weekend. There was a lot to do: yoga, visit the market place, enjoy the fire pits, take a swim.. the list goes on. We had a lovely stay.
Rooms: Cozy room with a king bed and fireplace. Private balcony. Easy walking distance to the lodge. The blankets on the bed were a bit tattered and frayed on the edges.
Nearby activities: The marketplace is right across the street and has so much to offer. So easy to walk to. Short trail to the beach as well!
Walkability: We found it so easy to walk around the grounds and across the street to the marketplace.
Food & drinks: The provisions cafe has some wonderful options. I have food allergies and the staff was so knowledgeable and accommodating!

The only thing worth the money at this place was the dinner at the bay house and the location. The rooms are way too expensive for the quality, the breakfast is attrociously executed, No ac in top floor rooms, they have a mini fridge that they dont stock, they make you walk out of your room with a mason jar with no lid to get your own water, the beds are horrible for someone with back issues. I can not express enough how not worth it this place is from the first time i stayed here. The only thing i would go back for is dinner and thats it. So many things wrong yet its advertised as "luxury".

Great ambience in the forest with golf course views and is just a nature trail away from the beach. Great food, 2 fire pits with s’mores, a pool and lodge with a cozy atmosphere.

Exceeded my expectations. There’s so much to do that you will not be bored. The hospitality is elite. We will be back!

This place is not worth the money. We get to the hotel at 530pm to check in (check in is at 4pm) and the room was not ready. The hotel staff was rude and unapologetic. When we get to our "Premiere King Room" the room was very old and hot. We looked for air conditioning only to find out there was none. For a room that's 500/night you'd expect some basic amenities. I've stayed at motels nicer than this.

This little gem is outstanding. The front desk staff was friendly and the check-in process was smooth and easy.
The spa is amazing. Had a massage and facial and it's worth every penny and then some. This is a definite get-away spot!!

I was very disappointed in the quality of the rooms at the lodge, specifically the bedding and furniture in the hotel after booking what was advertised as a 5 star hotel. The lobby smelled of cat urine really bad. The first room we were booked in, the tub would not drain. We were moved to a deluxe king room after that. The deluxe room had a damaged lamp shade, scratched up, table, ripped up bedding. I had to have the hotel bring new bedding which was still extremely worn out. The duvets on the beds are not in a cover but instead tucked between two sheets. The duvets are so old and worn out that they are completely flat and lay less than an inch tall. We litterly thought there was no bedding on the beds after arriving to the hotel. The beds looked like they only had sheets on them, because the duvet was so worn out. The hotel needs to upgrade the bedding in every room it is unexceptable to charge that much per stay and use bedding in that condition. We were there for 5 days and our room only had one roll of toilet paper and towels for 2 days. I actually had to use a roll of toilet paper I brought in my suit case. Since we were on the 3rd floor way away from the lobby it would of taken the hotel staff awhile to bring another roll to us. The hotel knew we were booked for 5 days so they should of had a proper amount of toilet paper and towels in our room but did not. We were paying over $250 a night for what was suppose to be 5 star service. I have stayed at Marriott and Hiltons that are 3 star hotels for $125 a night that had much better bedding and rooms. After asking for a room resfresh midweek, our room was not cleaned there was dirt all over the floors and nothing was wiped down. The staff only refreshed the bedding and towels and left one roll of tp. They then folded town the couch bed our child was sleeping on instead of remaking the bed with fresh bedding. They left the clean sheets for that bed tucked between the folded down hida bed and under the couch cushions. It was not actually on the bed which was disgusting to have clean sheets just sitting under the couch cushions. To be clear we booked a room with 2 Queen beds but were moved to a different room due to issues with the first room they put us in, so our child had to sleep on a hidabed. I hope the hotel makes these upgrades so it can be on par with what they are advertising, we felt were sold a lie. The hotels amenities and views are amazing and would be worth staying again if these changes are made. I took photos of our upgraded deluxe king room, bedding and furniture because it was in such bad shape.

Beautiful spot. Grounds are very well looked after. The rooms are all in separate lodges away from the main hotel building. We ate in the hotel restaurant and had the chefs tasting menu. The food was above average but a couple items were pre-prepared and a bit dry.
Wine list was fantastic.
Shops and golf course are part of the same complex but at the bottom of the hill.
I would stay again.

Was told our room was going to have a separate room for the bed and the couch. Ended up just being a studio. The bathtub didn’t stay full, constantly leaked water. When we asked for the room to be refreshed they didn’t give us more toilet paper. Definitely not a 4 star hotel. Nice enough and served its purpose for a place to sleep, but not the kind of service that I anticipated at all.

Overall, I think this is closer to 3.75 but rounding up. We enjoyed our stay at the Salishan Coastal Lodge, but there were definitely areas for improvement. Check-in was smooth and the receptionist was very friendly and helpful.
We originally booked a king room and had the option to upgrade to a "deluxe king" for an additional $25 a night. We decided to try it out, but I'm not really sure that it's worth it to upgrade. The room was a bit bigger and comfortable (being on the top floor was a plus), but the room was still a bit outdated. We had some issues with our shower (temperature regulation, leaking) which we decided to just deal with since we were only there a couple of days. The view was beautiful and the private beach access for guests was another highlight.
These could be separate reviews, but the spa was outstanding and we enjoyed using the indoor tennis courts (though there was no one working the front desk both times we went.)
The real issue for us was the dining - the Attic restaurant was disappointing. It didn't look busy when we tried to go, but were told it'd be a 30-45 minute wait for food, so we went elsewhere. The second time we tried it was just for drinks (glass of wine and a cocktail) and it took about 30 minutes to receive them. We were seated outside, but when we asked if they could turn on the heater were told it was out of propane. It wasn't late in the evening. It seems silly to have an outdoor seating area if it's not properly prepared for.
Overall, it was a good enough experience that we'd try it again (mostly for the spa and the beach) but I'm not sure it would be a "go-to" spot for us.

The room was great and pet friendly. Floors looked to be a wood laminate which gave a very clean feel that you don't get at a lot of hotels. The patio opened up onto the golf course for a nice view.
