NO NO NO! Don't use this company! We tried to give Hattan's the benefit of the doubt. We purchased a complete kitchen from Standard TV and Appliance in 2017. When our GE refrigerator started malfunctioning four years later, Standard didn't have enough technicians (after pandemic) and referred us to Hattan's. I was excited to use a company from the same town. They answered the phone and scheduled us quickly. The service was done as soon as the part arrived and the price was fair. When our dishwasher went ka-poot in June 2023 I didn't hesitate to reach out, despite seeing a lot of negative reviews. Again, they were responsive and replaced the control board. A $500 dollar repair.
Fast forward to October of 2023. The dishwasher stopped working again and exhibited the same symptoms as before. When I called the office I would get a prompt to leave a voice mail but the box is always full. No one ever answers. Finally emailed and got a response . Was put on the schedule and told a $149 return fee would be charged, but if the problem was the same there would be no additional charges. Winning, right? On the day of the repair, after taking time off from work and making arrangements to be home, I get a call from the tech shortly before the appointment time saying, since the problem appears to be the same, he will skip coming out and simply order the part. Well, alright.
There has been a delay and no communication from the company. Any update I've received has been by reaching out myself. I was told the part was on backorder and I would be notified as soon as it was available. It's now February of 2024, and I still can't get in touch with anyone. Six months with no repair. I've sent three emails since January 18th, two weeks apart, asking for an update. Crickets. I tried calling last week but now I just get a message that the call cannot be completed as dialed. I went to the business address, a private residence, and knocked for about ten minutes. Someone was inside, but didn't answer the door. Oh, and their listed website is defunct.
Think someone didn't pay their internet and phone bill? The attached photos give you an idea of what I'm dealing with. If the garbage dump outside is any representation of the professionalism of the company - be wary. The eyesore of the entire neighborhood (a nice newer neighborhood by the way). I could have another company come diagnose the problem and make the repair for another $500. Better off buying a new unit. I'm not sure how this place stays in business.

There's no way to contact them. No one answers the phone ever and the voicemail is full. If you are trying to get warranty service then you are out of luck.

Short review: If you can, avoid using this company for appliance warranty purpose! They will not fix the issue, not return calls, and take 3-4 months to not even fix the problem. I would give negative stars if possible.Took almost a month to get the first tech out. Tech came out and told my fiance he "fixed" our fridge door issue. When I got home I realized he didn't even touch the defective part. He replaced the perfectly working hinge instead. Called them back out to look again. They had already closed the case so I had to reopen another case! Then it took another month for this tech to reevaluate and say he had to order parts. After he left it was weeks and I never heard a word. I called several times. However, their voicemail is constantly full and you can not leave a message. So I sent multiple emails. Never heard back. This was now 4months with a broken fridge. I had to call the appliance manufacturer and open another case to send a new company. I highly recommend you DO NOT use Hattans Appliance!

This is the worst company. The owner is really shady, untrustworthy, and unreliable. I feel cheated and robbed. I DO NOT recommend this business at all, ever.

Hattans was dispatched by Fridgidair warranty team to repair a water dispenser that wasn't dispensing water after my fiancé and I were gone for 4 days. After having a virtual appointment with a technician, who verified that he had 20-30 years experience, it was determined that the dampener needed to be replaced. The only question asked during the virtual diagnostic appt was "is anything freezing in the refrigerator?". I explained that my produce had been freezing recently and it hadnt been doing that before. The part was ordered and an appointment was set for a tech to come out and replace the dampener. Cut to the tech, John, coming out, I explained what was going on and that the day after I scheduled everything, the water started dispensing again after a chunk of ice flushed through the line. John stated that we did everything right (just let it set for 24hrs and it would melt the lines) and next time we leave to just turn the temperature down one level on the fridge settings (i.e. make the fridge a little warmer, he called it "vacation mode").
I asked "for peace of mind, can you replace the dampener anyways?" John refused to change the part, stating: "I'm not going to, no. I have 20 years experience doing this, if it really were the dampener, water would be pouring from the unit. It'd be like changing a tire that doesn't need to be changed. But if you want to call KJ and have him do it, you're more than welcome to." He then gathered his tools and left. TERRIBLE!!!! FLAT OUT REFUSING TO REPLACE A PART THEIR TECH RECOMMENDED BEING REPLACED BECAUSE OF A DIFFERENCE OF OPINION BETWEEN EMPLOYEES IS NOT THE CUSTOMER'S ISSUE. IF THE CUSTOMER ASKS TO HAVE THE PART REPLACED, EVEN FOR PEACE OF MIND, REPLACE THE PART!!!
Edit: Jessica called me back after I couldn't get through on the phone and followed up with an email requesting an immediate call. She assured me that her supervisor and/or the owner will be calling me to discuss what happened. When I explained briefly what happened, Jessica stated that for all her knowledge and years in the industry "I know for fact, no appliance has a vacation mode".
03/03/23 Update: The owner, KJ, and a trainee (Jake, I think) came out and replaced the dampener in my fridge. In total, I think they were at my residence for 15 minutes, from entry to departure.
Overall, I can't say that I would recommend Hattans for any service needs. Certainly if you have a manufacture warranty situation, ask about who the certified repair service is before agreeing to having someone come out to your home. While KJ said the right things in terms of agreeing what took place initially shouldn't have happened, there wasn't a lot of confidence restored with him replacing my dampener ("Just because we replace the part doesnt mean it's going to fix the problem.")
We won't know if the issue has been fixed until out next extended trip away from home. My fingers are crossed it is, if anything, so I don't have to deal with Hattans. I figured if anything goes wrong again, it's another call to the manufacture and hopefully a different repair service can remedy the issue, not Hattans.

We have been waiting for our washer to get fixed. They apperantly ordered the wrong part twice, I understand they are busy and shipping is delayed, but i waited only to ultimately get told that my washer, that is less then a year and a half old, is not repairable and now i have to wait to hear back about the warranty. My family has been going without a washer for a while, and we are still waiting for it the issue to get fixed.

Literally a nightmare. My warranty booked this company 4 months ago -ordered parts. Tech came in told me my dishwasher was garbage. Refused to put new parts and left. My dishwasher spewed water all over the kitchen floor and grinder to a halt. Same error code. Called office within 10 min of tech leaving no answer. Left angry voice mail. They never called k followed up had service for today. Owner called they sent my parts back.The worst company ever. Called warrenty to get new service. This is unacceptable.

If I could give negative stars I would. I was forced to use this company for a warranty washer repair. They ordered parts, were unreachable for 2.5 months, never returned my or Epic's calls, then, when the parts did finally come, they didn't even install all of them so I STILL don't have a working machine...Negative 3 stars for me. They're so worried about getting out the door, they didn't even check to see if the machine worked.Service: Washer/dryer repair

Literally on month four of them repairing my dishwasher. They do not answer calls, they do not return voicemails. I have been more than patient and giving them more than enough chances to swap out a pump on a dishwasher. I gave this company multiple chances and was always disappointed. I was finally able to get my manufacturer to assign me a new repair company. Just like the other reviews, rude staff or don't answer the phone, unprofessional and unreliable. It's unfortunate for all the customers that have been ripped off.

Called to set up appointment as I used this business in the past. Left about 5-6 voice messages over 2 week period and never a call back. Phone still says their name so I assume still in business and just not returning calls??

The manufacturer has coordinated Hattan’s to fix our brand new refrigerator. They came out as scheduled and needed to order parts. After not hearing from them since the initial appointment (3 months ago), I’ve been trying to reach them and I can’t get anyone to answer the phone and the voice mailbox is full every time I call, so I can’t leave a message. I’ve been trying for over a month.
