I moved to Oregon/West coast about 2 years ago. How lucky was I that the first mechanic I went was Jeremy @ Mad Auto. I would NOT-under any circumstances-take my vehicle anywhere else. Honest, reliable, on point, just a solid guy with a good heart & HUGE Saint Bernard dog!! I’m grateful that this place is here in this gorgeous state and city.

Jeremy listens when you talk and explains your concerns. He knew exactly what I needed and had things taken care of in less than 15 min. Definitely will use his business again when needed.

Most importantly, Jeromy does honest business. He did a great job on my vehicle (which had several issues), was very communicative throughout the process, and his prices are very reasonable. Above all else, I appreciate his honesty and straightforwardness, and his willingness to go above and beyond. 10/10 - highly recommend.Services: Brakes

My Wife's Mazda van was having some battery issues. Bought a replacement at an auto parts store, and they tested the old battery (as it wasn't actually very old) and it registered "good". They tested the alternator output and said it was bad. Called around to several shops to have it looked at the next day and all had no availability. Jeromy at MAD offered to take a look and test the alternator despite having limited availability as well. He ran several tests and found that the alternator was still in good working order. He could have easily just agreed with the parts store and sold me $600 worth of parts and service, but instead was upfront and honest. Would highly recommend MAD automotive for their integrity alone, and will definitely be calling them for any future repairs to my vehicles!

Great service and fair prices make this place an excellent choice to take your vehicle. The quote I got when I dropped off my truck was very accurate. They had it done right when they said they would. They got me in same day when my alternator died and I was back on the road in no time. Will take my vehicles here again!

Mad Auto was wonderful! I drove down to visit from Seattle and my timing belt went out as I got to town Thursday night. I called Mad auto and got my car in Friday afternoon. Jeremy took a look at it and told me prices and options up front, and magically had my car fixed by Saturday so I’d have it while visiting and be able to make it home for thanksgiving next week.So kind and so helpful, would be my chosen mechanic if I lived in town! Thanks Mad Auto!!!

I did in fact have my car towed to this place & back from it after one of the mechanics tried to buy my car after I told him I’m not paying $1,700-2,300 for a timing belt when it’s a timing chain and couldn’t even properly diagnose the issue or give a reasonable price for a timing chain replacement and was told, “i’m 99% sure it’s the timing belt but if not, it could run you up to $2,300 for maybe 8 more hours of labor.” so you’re telling me, you don’t know for a fact if that’s what it is, you’re adding on more labor hours out of no where, (exactly 8), then when I say, “i’m not paying you a couple grand to do a $600 job”, then this mechanic wants to buy my car? Might I also add how no one gave me any receipts for anything or paperwork, charged me $180 just to diagnose the issue they weren’t even sure about? I will provide the tow bill to and from just to prove my car was in fact here and for a few days. Terrible customer service.Service: General repairs & maintenance
