After being transferred to many departments on the phone I saw that the new location close to me, on Royal ave was open even on a SATURDAY! Heather Metcalf despite usually being appointment only not only made time for me but was enthusiastic about seeing me and answered EVERY question I had! “I recently opened several CD and an IRA account with !st Fed. It is apparent that the home office/online service does not communicate well with the branch offices: I made an appointment online, called their 877 number when I received contradictory info by text, was assured that the appointment was valid, then when I got there,the branch had no record of me. But...no problem, an extremely nice & knowledgeable employee assisted me, I got great CD rates, and when I said I wasn'tcomfortable opening the IRA online (they do their IRAs thru another entity), I got another appointment 2 days later, it took about 20 minutes to open the IRA, take my RMD, pay the taxes, get a cashier's check, and be on my way! Again, great rates, ability to pull money out of the CDs WITHOUT PENALTY (b/c I'm a senior!---most banks now charge huge penalties for early withdrawal), smooth sailing. So far, so good.”

I looked all around Automotive for tire chains no one asked me if I needed help I went upfront and asked and the answer was if we have them they would be back there. As I found out they don't even have them out yet.
