Took my '17 F-150 to The Car Shop in Dallas, OR for electrical issues. First time using the Shop and I'm happy with the results. It was about 5 days in the shop from drop-off to pick-up and the truck has been issue free since. I would recommend them to others.
I decided on The Car Shop because they seemed honest and up-front about costs and workload--they weren't the cheapest repair shop by hourly rate, half the cost of a dealership, double the cost of the (suspiciously) lowest, and on par with the average of others I checked. They warned me they were pretty busy and I needed to schedule a drop-off about a week in advance.
When I dropped off the truck they asked many questions about the issues, how and when they would occur, and what kind of work had been done recently. I was bracing for a couple weeks worth of work, suspecting water or rodent damage to wiring. They contacted me on the third day at the shop and reported suspected problems, a defunct computer and an issue with fluid levels.
They inspected the truck for leaks, addressed the fluid level issue, scheduled an on-site programming specialist for a new computer, and had the work done a couple of days after reporting their findings. The total cost was reasonable when accounting for diagnostic time, inspections, labor, fluids, programming, and parts.

Taken our Volvo to them and our window just fell off its track and he fixed it right away! Very informative crew and will recommend then to everyone!

Extremely helpful and honest. Even if you don't end up giving them your business, they're still eager to help you diagnose your problem and get you moving in the right direction.I couldn't wait for an opening in the schedule for my car, and the man I spoke with on the phone helped me figure out what was going on so I could fix it myself.This will be the only shop I'll use anytime I need work done. They may not have made anything on the advice they gave, but it earned my future business and loyalty.

They really know their stuff there, Mark has been working on different rigs of mine for over 30 years. Won't take it to anyone else, if he's busy, I'll make a later appointment he's that good.

I'm telling you Mark will never ever steer you wrong. He's never ever done unnecessary work just to get more money out of me. He's clear and strong in his communication. I was spoiled having my brother do all work needed as he was trained under a master mechanic for 2 years. He's in coast guard so he's on east coast now. Anyways now that I'm back in Oregon I drive 35 minutes to him from my home. I would drive an hour if i had to! Besides he's a cool guy
