Better of to drive three towns away and wait in line. Incompetent staff and can't make the timeframe they give you.Disaster after taking over from bi-mart. Expected better from a national chain

HORRIBLE...DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY. Zero star worthyThis is by far the worst pharmacy I have ever dealt with. I have had this Rx filled for the last four years at different Walgreens locations and never once had an issue except a delay if their supply was short. I called this location in advance to ensure they had enough to fill my Rx. The staff that I spoke to was a very kind and pleasant to speak to. He took the time to get every detail in the system verified/corrected due to a change in insurance and the order was being worked on. About 30 later, the pharmacist cancelled my order without notification after it was in process. After calling, the pharmacist simply stated that she would not fill it after being given the Rx directly from my medical doctor and proper insurance. I spent an exhausting 1.5 hours with this ordeal. I called another pharmacy in Corvallis and they found it absurd, as did my doctors office, that the pharmacist subjectively denied filling my Rx because she "wasn't comfortable" filling this Rx as it was filled in the past at another pharmacy and simply stated "the decision to fill this Rx is up to me, the pharmacist". The incompetence of this pharmacist should not be my problem, nor should I be subjected to a pharmacist with a god complex.

This place is SHADY. Too much trouble to deal with, and it makes me wonder if there is illegal activity going on. I had a partial refill on a medicine that I actually had to use because my doctor forgot to put in pharmacy information into the automated system to notify a doctor for authorizing a refill; meaning it might take some time to resolve through messages and phone calls. I went to get a partial refill but someone in the pharmacy had closed it out! I had a family member go to different walgreens pharmacy in albany to get it resolved, and the people who worked there were in disbelief as that should not have happened, and they could not find any information on why the medicine was closed out. Could the 53rd walgreens pharmacy be skimming partial refills off of RX's that have no other refills left, which closes them out?

People behind the counter are nice enough, but I feel sorry for them. They have to face the angry customers and take the abuse that the companys lousy practices creat. This company as a whole is the worst.I use the app to order my meds. When the app tells me my meds are ready for pick up, I figure I can just stop by and pick them up. Almost every time they are not ready and they ask if I can come back in a half hour or more. Who has that kind of extra time? Also they have a Ridiculous lunch break in the middle of the day and they are not open. If that's the only time you have available to pick up your meds you are out of luck. I feel this company has never heard of customer service before. I will be finding a new place to fill my prescriptions. No business should run this way ever.

Staff is always kind and helpful. The problem is there is not enough of them for what is needed. They are always randomly closed, so if you are lucky enough to be there when they are open, expect a hefty line. It is usually a fiasco every time I need to fill or pick up a prescription, and good luck getting a hold of a human being via phone without wanting to break your phone. Save yourself the time and frustration and just find a different pharmacy.

Never put up a sign when they were closed due to weather conditions or put it on their phone message.

i understand that you’re understaffed. but when it says “action needed call the pharmacy” and i’m on hold so long that i miss my classes it’s quite obnoxious. if you’re moving to corvallis look elsewhere to get your prescriptions, especially students, you won’t have time to wait on hold for hoursedit: i stayed on hold and they hung up after two hours lol nice

My review is in two parts. 1) The employees (5 stars) at this Walgreens are some of the best around. Some were held over after BiMart was forced to sell their two pharmacies. Walgreens cut back to one at this BiMart location. 2) Upper management has bungled every opportunity to create a good working environment by cutting staff and most likely wages. Many of us have been going to BiMart for decades and we know full well that Walgreens has pretty much ruined what was a great pharmacy. Some days there are only 2-3 people there. Other days they appear to have closed because of staffing problems. This is NOT the people there. It is NOT covid excuses. It is Walgreens Inc. playing games with salaries and working hours. Plus, the Walgreens notifications drive many of us nutso. Their app is annoying. Walgreens company gets a zero in my opinion. They also have a very burdensome tracking system. We are in trouble here in Midvalley Oregon.

The review is directed towards management and the higher-ups. The staff currently working here are AMAZING. However, they are understaffed. I lived in Eugene and Seattle and have had delays and issues and sadly that's normal. However, the understaffing is really hindering the filling of prescriptions. I thought my ADHD medication wasn't filled on time because of a shortage (understandable), but when I went to get another medication (it's a common med) I was given 5 days out of 30 and then told to come back to get the rest later. It's been 5 days and I'm out of this medication. I can't get the rest filled. I've been on hold for almost an hour with "More than 3+ callers ahead" of me. This is crazy. I've been in line with others who get the same runaround answer too. It's happening to multiple people. This is NOT okay.I'm an understanding person. I get it. Stuff happens and delays are practically normal when getting meds filled. However, the fact that there is a line outside of multiple people (usually around 5 people) and then two separate lines inside of 10+ people and you have to wait to be told to come back the next day because your prescription wasn't filled is crazy. Then when you come back the next day, and it's the same response.HIRE MORE STAFF (It's not that simple, I get it, but that's not an excuse...) The AMAZING staff that are currently working are great but they deserve more help! I almost wonder if this is a tactic to solve the problem by hoping customers will transfer to use other pharmacies instead of having to hire another person.I'll be moving pharmacies soon after 15 years of going here. It's sad but necessary.

Interminable wait time. Prescription not ready. Just a mess

Ever since Walgreens took over the pharmacy, my prescriptions are never ready on time, long lines any time of day. My wife switched to Philomath pharmacy. That's what I'm going to do. I agree with another persons comment, the staff are nice. Just disorganized and under staffed!?

I absolutely agree, go anywhere else. They don't even deserve 1 star. They mess up my meds every month. I have to go several days without a med that isnt supposed to be stopped abruptly. I always submit my order 10 days before it's due. This month I e waited 20 days so far. Also the customer service is less than professional. They never apologize for the inconvenience. They only make lame excuses. They also constantly try to put the blame on my provider. I'm sorry but my provider is organized and would never cause me to be out of my meds. I also reported this location to corporate.
