Can't ask for much more. Even the employees seem nicer, which tells me they had a horrible manager on staff around 2 years ago making people miserable.”

“Always love coming into this Safeway, especially during the week with my kids! They look forward to coming in and going to see Mr. Mark in the produce section. The man is just a delight every time and he always makes them feel special! “I normally don't go to riteaid for my prescriptions. My doctors office messed up and sent it to the wrong pharmacy. I walked in I was 6th or 7th in line.....I almost turned around and left. Safeway would have taken 45 minutes (dramatic I know).I know it is hit or miss with pharmacies but today was amazing! They were so speedy, but still very friendly. Ali and a young girl (didn't get her name) were wonderful. The pharmacist was very friendly as well.Thank you guys .”

“I believe this store is a financial loss for Safeway. A friend was the manager there and told me. But they keep it open as a community service as it is the only grocery on the south end of Corvallis. There is a high level of theft that affects this location. I've seen theft "teams" just walk out the door with alcohol. But the staff works hard to provide service to customers. Personally, I appreciate having a store at this south end location since I live south of Mary's River. It also is nice not to have to drive further for pharmacy items. Wenn and pharmacy staff are reliable hard workers. I'm sure they are slammed like pretty much every other pharmacy in town.”

“Rice's has an amazing level of compassionate care. They go above and beyond. My husband needed a medication urgently, which would prevent his condition becoming much more serious over the next couple days. A prescription had been called in to Rite Aid Friday afternoon. He was given a dose at the doctor's so we could wait until Saturday. I called Rite Aid Saturday morning at 9. They said it was unlikely they could fill it until next week. They were "busy". I explained the urgency. They said they had "other commitments" but I could try another pharmacy and get the prescription transferred. After a failed attempt at Walgreens, I called Rice's. Like day and night. I rushed over there to do the paperwork and they'd already got the process started. We then waited nearly 3 hours for Rite Aid to deign to transfer the prescription (which, again, is what they told me they would do). The amazing pharmacy hero at Rice's called them every 10 minutes and when they did actually send it over, was as excited and relieved as I was. A truly wonderful place and I will, in future, never go anywhere else. I even did the paperwork to get me in the system for the future.”
