Right of the highway, 5.5 miles to intel, under miles from 2 different shopping center. There is a 24hr gym in the hotel, also there is a 24hr big gym about 10 minute walk from the hotel as well. There is a bank about 30s walk from the hotel. There is a pre school next door for those thinking of longer stay. Hotel staff are nice, the place is quiet. They have grills that work, nice shower pressure. Water is filtered. Ac work. Lots of parking. Breakfast is made to order and is very health conscious. There also bread and bagels and yogurt Bar to go. They do wine bar on the week days and a tea bar as well.Rooms: Nice and clean and freshSafety: Pretty safe around the areaFood & drinks: Close to food options

Newly developed or remodeled hotel, facilities and amenities are quite nice, tho the swimming pool is more suited for kids lol, nice small gym, basketball half courts, and outdoor grilling for anyone to use. Rooms are nice and comfortable, just not sound proof enough...all in all good places to stay.Rooms: Nice, very clean and decent sizeFood & drinks: Breakfast is not bad, serviceable...free (local brewery) drinks from 530 to 7pm every day, so not a bad deal

I love staying at the Element anytime I travel to Portland! The hotel is really nice and always kept clean, management and staff are always super welcoming, happy and willing to help! Love that it's so close to a 24 hr fitness even though their gym has a good assortment of equipment. Always look forward to business travel and stay here!

Pool was nice (saltwater!) snacks were reasonably priced and the staff were really great. My only complaint is the bathroom light. The motion detector would click the light back on even if you walked past the door due to the mirror.Place seemed perfect for a traveler who was staying for a week or so

I was looking for a hotel with a nice indoor heated pool and this fit the bill. Everything was very clean in our rooms and the rest of the hotel. The little 24 hr convenience shop had reasonably priced items and good variety of snacks. I also really appreciate that y'all rescued my swimsuit when I forgot it in our bathroom at checkout ? would definitely recommend for anyone visiting

I would give this a 4star but the customer service is lacking. I spend 250-310 days per year traveling and this was the first place I have encountered unreasonable rules from the management. I was told “everyone does this, it’s not our rules”. Decent area and nice quiet, very clean rooms. Huge negative from the management.

Lovely place but the way breakfast is organized is very frustrating. The food is all over the place so people bump into each other non stop. Please put the food in one place. So much easier.

Decided to try out this brand over the weekend, but I'm disappointed. The brand seems to suffer from the same problem most "modernized living" hotels do: poor, cheap design choices attempting to disguise themselves as clever. The "standard king" is spacious and clean, but that's about where the charm ends. For some reason, they use beds with a box enclosure that, besides making it so you bark your shins if you're not careful, doesn't allow housekeeping to properly stretch the sheets on, so one night and the thing is disassembling itself. The website is a bit confusing on kitchens, but "standard" means no kitchen, just microwave/minifridge. Unlike a real extended stay, for example TownePlace Suites, there's little surface area to put anything on aside from a mid-size Ikea-like desk, a single suitcase stand, and a couple tiny shelves that pass for nightstands. Like others have said here, the window shade isn't constructed well and the room is never dark. The thermostat doesn't seem to actually do anything (there's a message at the bottom that says "address controlled by c.c.") and despite the thermometer's insistence that the room only varied between 65F and 67F, I was very often sweating. Frankly, a business traveler like myself is better off even in an average Fairfield Inn.

I recently revisited the Element Hotel in Beaverton, Oregon, and it continues to be a great choice. The hotel's ambiance is quiet and modern. The rooms are thoughtfully designed with nice touches like lighted closets, filtered water in the kitchen, and bright bathrooms. The bathroom products are nicely scented and not too overwhelming.Their breakfasts are on the healthy side with a rotating hot food option. The staff, particularly Nonnie, stands out. She was extremely professional and friendly, even with issues outside of the hotel's control. When we arrived well before check-in time, she went the extra mile, providing us with snacks to make our early arrival comfortable.Rooms: Nice smelling products in the bathroom. The kitchenette is surprisingly useful.Safety: Very safe area. Didn't see any broken windows. The city seems to have patrol cars everywhere.Walkability: Not good for walking. You definitely need a car.Food & drinks: Nothing close by except an arcade/pub. Some fast food down the street a few blocks.

We loved our extended stay at this very nice looking hotel. It has great amenities and very friendly staff. Huge fans of the gym, the indoor heated pool was nice, and we enjoyed the fresh breakfast in the mornings. During nice weather we used the patio grill and had a little cookout, the hotel provided the utensils. Huge thanks to the housekeeping staff and their hard work, nothing beats the feeling of returning to a clean room with fresh towels and bed sheets. The hotel was at a convenient location with a great park across the street. I highly recommend to all.

Do not stay at this hotel if you are disabled, especially if you are a wheelchair user. There are also reasons not to stay here even if you are not disabled. The one star is solely because I have actually had to stay in hotels worse than this one.As a Marriott Bonvoy member, I booked a two queen bed studio room online (for which I received a confirmation email with the word GUARANTEED in it). When I arrived, the room was not available. I was told it was occupied. I was put in a different room with one bed and a pullout sofa. I was not allowed to see the room I booked as I was told it was occupied and would be long term. However, when I checked out I was told (obviously by a different person), that the room I had booked was not available because of a mechanical problem. She assured me that the studio with two queen beds DOES exist. There was no way to use the room in my wheelchair with the pullout couch bed open (in the room we were put in), so my mother (my caregiver) and myself (physically disabled) had to sleep in the same bed. The bathtub bench is at one end of the tub and at the other end are all of the things needed to bath - all completely out of reach (and in the case of the shower head and the soap and shampoo - up high so that they can only be reached by someone who can stand and shower). The bar next to the toilet does not meet ADA requirements and was loose. Also, the bathroom door is on backwards and hinged on the wrong side, so it opens out in such a way that it blocks the path between the kitchen/bathroom and the main room and door to the room itself. If the door were on properly, it would open against a wall and not block anything, allowing for easy movement throughout the room.As for the room we were given it also had other issues: the window coverings (automated) do not block out the light so the room is not dark at all at night, making it difficult to sleep. It is also apparently directly above the hotel laundry room, which was running machines 24/7. The plates provided (in the kitchen the room has) are tiny so don't expect to be able to make or even heat up an actual meal on them. You can't even put a sandwich on one of them. We did not use the stove. The refrigerator is a good size, however the ice machine is LOUD and makes noise constantly.Lastly, when we arrived we saw there is a huge construction site next to the hotel. We were not notified of this construction prior to our arrival, nor was the construction mentioned in any way when we checked in or during our stay (because I guess pretending it doesn't exist is a reasonable and normal thing to do)?It should not be too much to expect the type of room booked (especially when you have a received a guaranteed confirmation), nor should it be too much to expect an ADA room to be safe and usable for a disabled person IN A NEW HOTEL, when the ADA (federal law) is over 30 years old, now.I really expect Marriott to provide much better accommodations and service, especially in their new properties! Apologies and excuses are meaningless.Disabled people need to travel and stay in hotels and deserve accommodations that enable them to do so. Disabled people deserve to be treated with the same respect and receive the same quality of service provided to able bodied people.

Suites are roomy and comfortable. Almost feels like you're home. It would actually feel like home if they used a higher thread count on their sheets, but apart from that, everything is really great. Morning breakfast is excellent and has a cook with a hot breakfast, cooked to order. Evenings have a free happy hour. Excellent service!

Absolutely horrid WiFi. Worst I’ve experienced among all the major hotels in the area. Between three publicly available networks, none can provide a constant connection. Devices lose internet every thirty seconds. Housekeeping comes at random and annoying times. Very modern building. Technology and services not so much.
