“My wife and I worked with Stephanie Tichenor to purchase a new Volvo XC60 Plug-In Hybrid. Stephanie made the entire process comfortable and easy - she was awesome! We had very specific wants regarding the car, including exterior and interior colors, features, and options. Needless to say, finding the car with all of our requirements was a daunting task. Stephanie took the time to research and prepare a number of options. She was very resourceful and found the exact car we wanted at an out of state dealership and was able to work a transfer of the car to Herzog-Meier for our purchase. “Coming off a 12 hr shift at eight in the morning, my Tiger spit it's chain and left me stranded. As my bike is my only mode of transportation, I needed a new chain ASAP. After calling a tow company I reached out to Cascade Moto to see if there was any chance of squeezing me in. They weren't open yet, but that didn't stop Dave at the front desk who was in early, from taking my number to pass along to the service department when they showed up. About 15 min later, service writer Jasmine returned my call and told me to bring my broken ride in and they would get it done ASAP and definitely by the end of the day. I arrived at 0930-ish and they checked me in right away, and let me know they were going to start work right away. I went outside, sat down on a bench and fell asleep. About an hour and a half later, I was woken from my nap with news that pending a test ride, my bike was done.The staff are great and super friendly, and the service was amazing. I was a H-D mechanic at 3 different dealerships for 10 years, and I know the in's and out's of what makes for a great service department which in turns leads to a great customer experience, and Cascade Moto is doing it right!Thanks!”

The truck looks new, and after a few months of hard driving and harsh car washing its holding up outstanding. “I was having a hard time finding an auto shop that felt trustworthy, my brakes were squeaking and it ended up being something extremely minor with my brakes (which honestly I thought maybe my rotor needed to be replaced) he was honest and had fixed it for me free of charge ♡ it made my entire day as I’m new in town and I had previously been scammed by a “mechanic” a couple weeks prior. “Northwest Auto fix found a bearing problem in the front two wheels which two prior mechanics had misdiagnosed. I brought my Toyota RAV4 in to the mechanic that I've been using for the last couple of years and he said that it was not wheel bearing but probably transmission or transfer case. He recommended a transmission shop that I brought it to who said it was a 90% probability that it was transmission and he could fix it for $6,000. I thought I would check Northwest Auto fix since I had used them in the past to work on the Hondas that I owned previously, including transmission work. Northwest Auto fix diagnosed the problem as both front wheel bearings being bad. I was skeptical at first but since it would be much much cheaper than a transmission if that really was the problem, I had them go ahead and work on it. Well, it turned out to be both front wheel bearings. When I came in to pick up my car, they had the bad bearings waiting for me to check and they really were both bad! Better yet, when I drove the car away the sound was gone!! Not only did they diagnose the problem correctly, but they potentially saved me many thousands of dollars. Northwest Auto fix will be my go-to mechanic from now on!”

“Brought my old car to these guys after a big-name mechanic made some mistakes and left me in an unsafe car with a huge bill.The parts for this car are not easy to find and the car is so old and obsolete, it wouldn't be worth it to fix it, to anyone but me.But these guys did it anyways. Didn't say anything about "this car is a bit old to fix" there have been some snags to fixing the car, given it is an old car, but considering the circumstances, they did a good job and they might be the only mechanics out of 5 groups who didn't try to take me for a fool for being a woman. They told me flat out the problems I was going to run into and didn't add repairs just to make a buck.It's nice to have my car back.”

The peace of mind i drive away with is worth way more than the reasonable prices they charge. “My review has more to do with the industry as a whole. In Beaverton, Oregon, Caliber assigned a monetary value to the loss that was obscenely high. As a result, my vehicle that had minor damage was considered a total loss. I retained my vehicle but after it was considered a total loss and given a salvage title designation. I feel I should have been contacted first before it was given the total loss designation as I would have pulled my claim. I was stunned to find it had been totaled. I found a freelance guy who fixed it for $1500 and Caliber wanted $3900. My vehicle now looks great again and drives great but now I have to deal with insurance and title issues that could have been avoided. The company that wanted to take my title and tow it was horrible--so predatory...even wanted me to give them power of attorney. At Caliber, Myka was very good. I was a difficult customer. Phil towards the end was good too. I just don't like the industry as a whole---it is a racket how the body shops, insurance companies and the auction places all come together and you as the individual citizen come out battered and bruised.”

“They aligned my foxbody when les Schwab said it was too low and will do a front alignment only which saves money. I've had les Schwab tell me they have to charge me for a 4 wheel alignment on a SOLID AXLE MUSTANG... Rev aligned it for 50$. Recently I took my 88 Camry to them after installing new tie rods, they charged 85$ for the front alignment, and they told me the steering rack was worn and the car wasn't holding the alignment. The guy was cool and said if I replace the rack they will do another alignment for free. I replaced the rack myself and now it holds alignment. Never going to les Schwab again. They also mounted and balanced some wheels for me without scratching them.”

“I am extremely grateful to Jim and the team at Beaverton all transmission, after one shop quoted me seven grand to re-build my transmission. I decided to get a second opinion, and had my car shipped out from Portland to Beaverton and Jim told me that was not a necessary job. My car did not have a transmission problem, it was electrical and shift solenoid.Although he wasn’t able to help me with my specific problem, he didn’t try to rip me off with unnecessary repairs like art of maintenance did in Northeast Portland , if I ever do have a transmission problem or if I know someone who does 100% I am recommendingJim. It seems like it’s getting harder and harder to find an honest mechanic and and Jim is one of the honest ones.”

“I can’t say enough good things about this place. The owner is very accommodating and super friendly. I had a very minor accident while pulling into my carport. I scraped my left front end and the paint had transferred terribly looking like I damaged the car. I took it to Caliber Collision first to get a quote and they were going to charge me over $1000, then I took it to UBAD because someone had recommended them to me months ago to get my car detailed. They charged me $75 and the car doesn’t even look like I had the accident. My jaw dropped. I was literally in shock and so grateful! The owner got me in and had the car done in under an hour.
