Yes they have lost some packages, I know they are very busy, and I understand so much!!!
They may not always enjoy everything, and they are constantly interrupted by everyone.
Thank you for everything they do there!!!

The post office in Banks has lost three packages of my wife’s in three consecutive days and we are missing countless documents from banks and the government that should have been received weeks ago. We were finally able to contact the postmaster at that location and she was less than helpful basically told us to double check our mailbox. I think we would’ve noticed three large packages sitting in our mailbox. When asked if she could come down to the mailbox and see if they got put in the wrong box, which is located less than two minutes away from facilities, she declined and refused to give us more help. Very put out and inconvenienced by the fact that we are missing hundreds and hundreds of dollars worth packages that have be misplaced. Would highly recommend avoiding getting anything shipped through this location as much as possible. When my wife went down there and spoke to somebody in person she saw a stack of complaints that was over 100 pieces of paper. You would hope that they would put forth at least a little effort and treat somebody with the slightest amount of respect after they have fail at there job and have been unable to competently complete their task but apparently that’s not a requirement at that location. One star is more than they deserve.

I fully agree with these other comments about the rudeness of the guy who works in this post office. He is consistently very grumpy and rude. If he hates his job so much, maybe he should pursue a new one.

This location in Banks is good. However, the USPS as a whole has very much declined over the years. I have had MANY things go missing, and many of my tenants send rent, and it goes missing . I avoid using the US mail unless I'm forced to.

The carriers for this post office just cannot be bothered to do a quality job. Packages are mixed up, if they are even delivered to the mailbox at all. I got three of my neighbor's packages, and not the extremely time sensitive one that I needed, despite Amazon notifying me that the package was left inside my mailbox. Wish the carriers would do the bare minimum and actually pay attention to what they're doing, so I don't have to rely on the kindness of my neighbors to recieve my mail. The guy who runs the counter is pretty cool though.

Terrible service, whoever the lady is that works here. Should be fired. She cannot do her job competently. Lazy, can’t lift boxes, rude. Unauthorized use of my mail.

I am so sick and tired of small packages being left at the Banks post office and all I get is a call tag in my huge mail box. Often it will be 1 bottle of meds from CVS. Which means I have to drive into town, mask up and spend 15 to 20 minutes standing g in line to get something that will fit in my pocket. We have talked to the post master and are lucky to get a shrug of his shoulders and an " oh well". To me it is pure laziness on the divery drivers to not put it in my mail box.

If you want to know why the post office is going out of business look no further than this branch... Clearly employees just collecting a check and have no work ethic or customer service. They are "government" employees though so it's good enough for government work...

Randomly decides not to deliver to my address, and instead holds the package at the office, which is where the tracking system says it is. Won't answer the phone. Go in, they say it's not there.
