This shop is very small and very cluttered with goods. Most items are not labelled with a price, and the ones that are priced are on par with much better organized and maintained and shoppable stores. I walked in and browsed for a few minutes before becoming overwhelmed. There are definitely authentic antique pieces, but they don't seem to be in excellent condition- most of the mid-century pieces I saw had damage or staining that was immediately evident. The person running the shop did seem available and maybe they know the stock well enough to help you shop- I prefer to browse on my own, especially when I'm not searching for anything specific. Did not seem like a great place for my size either, which ultimately led to me moving on. I might have tried harder if things were sorted by size

The worst Customer Service ever! Super dark and dirty. Barely any room to move around. I'm surprised it's not a fire hazard in there. Bought a vintage jacket for $60 & got outside in the light where it showed several stains. Went back in to return and she said she wouldn't return it. NO signs anywhere that say NO returns. Will not be going back.

Thank you Lynn at Garbo's Vintage for always having the best selection of vintage clothing and accessories in Astoria! If I'm looking for something specific, I know I'll find it here.

Nothing has a tag and everything is widely priced when you get up there. At least add a tag so we’re not surprised!!!

Bottom line:- Pricing is changed upon check-out- Make sure you receive the correct itemsI tried on three skirts and selected two -- one of them didn't have a price tag. The owner and I agreed upon a price, but when I checked out with her, she let me know it was going to be $5 more.Thinking that the additional cost was for tax, I later realized my mistake. Worse than that, I got all the way home (I don't live in Astoria), and realized that she had given me the incorrect skirt. Instead of the skirt that didn't have a price tag, she handed me the third one that I didn't want at all.I googled the shop to give her a call and tell her about what had happened, came across all these terrible reviews, and knew that I'd just been another sucker. The owner was polite enough to me (apart from charging me more and giving me the wrong merch). The store is very crowded and unorganized. Like others have said here, I wouldn't let the disorganization lead you to believe you're going to get a deal -- pricing is quite high for an un-curated store.

I went in and expected higher prices cause it was labeled an antique store. There were shirts from 2014 that were priced at over 100 dollars. It was very packed. I found a 70s Hawaiian shirt very similar to one I already have and found at a different antique shop. The one I already have was 50 dollars. The one at the store was 250. Afterwards I looked up the shirt and found the exact shirt for 45 dollars on eBay. If you find something you like here, just look it up and you'll find it for a way better price.

owner doesn't like you touching anything, has hand written signs everywhere stating to ask for help before you dig. is very rude when you touch things or ask for help. charges double of original price for generic brands. store would be very cool if you were allowed to dig as you normally are in stores that are so full that everything is stored in piles, but unfortunately digging is not allowed.
