I’ve been a resident of Whitby for 13 years, and I used to shop at this Walmart regularly. However, after the recent renovations, the store has taken a turn for the worse. The lighting is excessively bright, creating an unwelcoming atmosphere that makes everything feel unappealing.
The produce section is disappointing; the freshness just isn't there anymore. I find myself only visiting a couple of times a year when absolutely necessary. The clothing selection is bland, lacking in variety and quality. It feels like cheap clothing at a mediocre price—definitely not worth the trip.
For anyone looking for clothes, I highly recommend shopping online at other retailers instead. Overall, the changes have destroyed what was once a convenient and reliable store.

In the past I had good experiences with pickup orders at this Walmart, but This year the service has significantly declined. Today, I waited over 20 minutes for my order, despite being the first car in line. Other customers who arrived later were served before me. This is incredibly frustrating and makes the convenience of pickup orders pointless. The in-store service is also poor. I recommend shopping elsewhere.

If you have an autistic child do not bring them shopping here and use the self check outs this store canters out and accuses parents of autistic children of stealing when the guy litterally eagle eyes all your scans. It's disgusting in this day and age that pos can't do their hobs properly so they accuse people who have a hard enough go as it is of being thieves when they clearly paid for everything. Best part after the check all items accounted for and paid for so all this was just to traumatize my autistic child. Walmart do better you disgust me

Two times now I’ve made curbside pick up order. I’ve had to wait 30+ minutes for them to bring my order out even though I was the first car to check in. I could’ve just went inside and grabbed everything in that time. Very annoying and inconvenient.

Dirty and gross from the moment you walk in to get a cart and have to throw out other people's garbage that they left in the cart. On the way out you are also treated to a health hazard as you place your food items across the digustingly dirty self checkout scanners. Would it be too much to ask to have the attendants periodically wipe down the machines instead of standing there, playing on their phones?

This Walmart has become the worst one. Always disorganized bunch of workers who have no clue where things or even understand what you are asking for. I even heard a bunch of managers talking to one another saying they only hire Indians and no other race as others are lazy….

Placed an order online and scheduled a grocery pickup. All items were in stock. The parking lot was full with other customers. The two gentlemen Fenil and Rushabh were fast and efficient to ensure all customers receive their order. One of the last customers to receive my order during that small rush. Both Fenil and Rushabh were we're apologetic for the delay. We had a short conversation about life and weather. Both were extremely professional and friendly. I offered a tip both employees but it is against walmart policy to receive any tips. Hoping I get to see these guys on my next grocery pickup. Walmart Whitby you have two amazing employees that are professional friendly and hardworking. See you on my next grocery pickup order

I've been going to this store for a long time. It has always been pleasant and stocked well. On Saturday I went and found there were paper towels in a bay and the price was persuasive especially with the price of paper products. I actually sent a picture to my father saying to get them as well. I finished my grocery shopping and went to the self check out and they rung out at a different price. I asked the associate about it and she called Monica the store manager. Monica was very rude and actually insinuated that I went and changed the price on the shelf as well. I asked her to show me the video proof I changed it since there are nothing but cameras in the aisle. She wouldn't and walked away. The price was clearly mismarked and there was a whole skid in that location. I have been explained the store policy by an associate at a different store when I asked them on Sunday. I was treated with nothing but disrespect and especially the accusation of changing the price myself really upset myself and my wife. I thought this store was different we actually go out of our way to go here instead of the one in ajax. We are seriously reconsidering not going to this location anymore. I will be explaining my experience with friends and family. Be cautious.

This is our favourite Walmart, we like that because is near our house, is almost organized and has what we need, but we live in an area where the population is 85% from India, so the manager thinks over his major customers and always have a great variety of India’s food, all kind of spicy food and a very limited variety of others regions, so I think should be good if the manager brings food from others countries too, like Italian food, for example, once the pasta is very common culinary in the world. In the last three weeks, we found just a few different types of past from just two or three brands. Common, you could do better!

This store has a rude, impolite and poorly educated manager. They yelled at our baby when he was playing around. Extremely trash management. Other employees are nice. I feel bad for people who has to work under this managment.
