I went there for a safety certification. They identified some car break issues with a large bill. Trusting and was pressed for time I agreed with them to go ahead with the work only to find out later from three mechanics that I was overcharged by a lot.
Don’t get dishonest business a chance to rip you off, get multiple quotes before authorizing the services.

Dave and Kyle take care of my Rogue and my daughters Kia and are always fair, competent, honest and professional.
I have been taking my vehicles there for over 15 years and have even had a transmission replaced and head cover gaskets done there.
Great local shop offering trusted services and integrity. Thanks Dave and Kyle and keep up the good work!!!!

DM Service Centre is an excellent shop.
They take the time to do a thorough inspection and advise of any defects they find.
I rarely can afford to do them all at once but it's good to be aware of issues even if they are not immediately fixed.
They have worked on my pickup, car and even the air conditioning in the RV.
The more I work with Kyle, the better it gets. He takes the time to understand your concerns and plan the best course of action.

I would NOT recommend going here for a vehicle safety inspection since they will try to run up a bill on you for issues that aren’t even legit.
I went to DM Service Centre for a vehicle safety inspection on April 30th. Dave and Kyle were friendly and polite. I didn’t expect to see any major issues since the vehicle I purchased was in great shape (2015 SUV with 61000 km and a previous owner that did very regular maintenance/repairs).
Unexpectedly, Kyle presented me with a bill for nearly $2000!! The bulk of the bill (nearly $1000) would be for replacing both front strut assemblies, which they deemed to be a critical safety issue because “both front strut mounts have play”. They failed the vehicle. To their credit, they did also notice a rusted brake caliper pin, which was a legitimate issue. When I pushed back on this substantial bill, they told me to go get a second opinion if I really wanted to.
So I did. I replaced the brake caliper pin myself to save $150. I then went to another shop for a safety inspection, costing me another $140. The second mechanic was more honest and did not find ANY issues with the struts.
Thus, I have no choice but to conclude that DM is a dishonest shop, which is a shame because I don’t like tarnishing anyone’s reputation.

I was told that the rear wiper motor needs to be changed. I told them it could be dusty or rusty which they disregarded. I brought the vehicle home, cleaned myself, and saved $600.

Don't waste time looking around for another service center to solve your vehicular problems. Just call Kyle, ( super knowledgeable and friendly ),at DM Service and they will take good care of you and your vehicle. Competitive pricing , quick thorough work and honest feedback. Totally trustworthy company . Such a nice surprise to expect a large bill to fix our motorhome and be given a small bill instead and finished the same day in less than 4 hours. DO NOT TRUST THIS BUSINESS. Went for a safety inspection (didn't realize my regular mechanic offered it, and made the mistake of not reading reviews on Google). When I got there, their shop smelled like cigarette smoke. I really needed this inspection done so I chose to ignore this. One of the employees - named Dave - was rude to me while taking my information before the appointment (the other employee, Vince, was kind). When the inspection was done, they gave me a quote for $2900 worth of things to fix in order to get the safety certificate, and said it would take a couple of days to repair ($1150 labour, $1350 service, the rest for tax). I was baffled since my car had JUST been serviced by my regular mechanic within the last month. I called my mechanic, read out the long list of fixes DM had given me, and learned that most of the issues on the list were not even related to safety at all, and that for the other items I would be charged a cheaper amount with my regular mechanic. They also told me that a couple of the issues brought up by DM had already been addressed and resolved within the last 6 months and did not need to be done again in order to be valid for the safety. When I called DM to ask for a refund for the safety certificate number (I wasn't going to ask to refund the labour), they told me this isn't possible because it's my choice as to whether I get the certificate from them in the end or not. My car, by the way, smelled like cigarette smoke when I got into it after they brought it back to me - thankfully this went away with driving with windows open for a few minutes. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this place - get your safety done elsewhere, and definitely check if your regular mechanic does it. If you do choose to go with DM despite this, ask them to take pictures of the issues they tell you are there, and be present when the pictures are taken so that you can be sure they don't sabotage your vehicle for the purpose of the picture. Better yet, ask your mechanic for recommendations of where to go to get a safety inspection done. Don't spent $130 just to learn a lesson like I did.
