If I could put zero stars I would. (Also all the nice looking photos of this shop with the trains and organized shelving and good reviews are not actually this store but the across the road called artistic land or something like that. This store is cluttered and not for claustrophobic people). Do not spend your money here. I have never had a worse experience anywhere ever in my life. My 3 yr old son needed to use the potty, and they have a bathroom right in the middle of the shop, there was no lock on the outside of the door and no signage at all saying it was private or staff only. My son walked in there on his own and stated he needed to go potty. So I followed him in (with a diaper bag since he is in diapers still just started training him) since he is incapable of going by himself at this point and started to closed the door. The owner then proceeded to barge in 5 seconds after I closed it. He then proceeded to scold me demanding who told me I could use the washroom and very aggressively told me It wasn't public and I needed to leave (I thought he meant leave the washroom but he meant the property). I asked if I could just use it quick since my son is three and potty training and cant hold it and he aggressively said he doesn't care and that I needed to leave his property immediately, despite it being a public shop. There was absolutely no indication whatsoever of the bathroom not being public, it was accessible enough for a 3yr to just walk in. If you don't want people using it atleast put a sign saying "private staff only," and get an outside lock for it. Don't yell at 3yr olds for needing to pee. Also don't just barge in either, I could have had his pants down already but thankfully I didn't get that far. I've never left a place In tears before but did from the treatment of this crotchety old man. I have never been treated so badly before in my life. This kind of treament and behaviour is completely unacceptable and this man just needs to retire if he can't even handle a child needing to pee. He could have easily just knocked and told me nicely that this isn't public and then given me directions of somewhere I could go to use the potty for my son, and I would have went but that is unfortunately not what happened. Completely unacceptable and unprofessional.
