The pharmacist Leanne was very rude for no reason. I had great experiences at the Walker Cancer centre with the doctors, nurses, techs, and receptionists. Hausers is run by someone else, the Walker tells me, which perhaps explains the drastic difference in the standard of care, but the manager (and hospital in general) should still care that the pharmacist treats patients like dirt. Cancer patients have specialized meds, meaning we have to use this pharmacy for certain meds even if the pharmacist is rude and power tripping. My support person, a lovely, easy to deal with person, also found Leanne rude. I think this person is in the wrong profession, or perhaps they would be happier in the back with a pill counter instead of dealing with human beings. An in hospital pharmacist should show some grace, compassion, dignity, and unconditional positive regard. Switched back to Montebello pharmacy, where Eyad is a complete sweetheart and treats me well. I’m glad I have that option as I’m in remission. No doubt Leanne will continue to be rude and heartless with vulnerable people who sadly have no choice but to deal with her.

The pharmacists at Hauser’s (at hospital location) are friendly and helpful, and the staff provide remarkable service which includes the courteous drivers. Leeann, you have made my cancer & related journey more stable than you can imagine. Your compassion and care is so appreciated.

88 year old mom needed a medical device. Ordered thru pharmacy 15 March. Told it would be 7-10 days. Called pharmacy three times over the last month asking where it was. All three times, including today was told they would make inquiries and call me back. Have never done so. Moms in significant discomfort this whole time, so will order on line. Very disappointing customer service experience.

The problem is the hours. You're the singular pharmacy at a major hospital. Go back to pre-pandemic hours.

I work at this hospital and was turned away for a government granted quit smoking program offered to smokers. A few of my fellow employees received this Incentive and told me to do it because they know I’ve been struggling. As I head down I was treated poorly by all pharmacy staff who turned me away cause I’m not a patient and the others didn’t have a clue of their programs guidelines. As an indigenous woman in themonth we are suppose to feel included at my place of work I’ve never been more embarrassed or poorly treated when others have been given this incentive. I will never walk into this pharmacy where they discriminate and pick and choose people to give this to or are uneducated about their job in the back at the pharmacy. They should all be ashamed at their lack of knowledge and their poor treatment of frontline workers in the same facility.

Terrible service. Over charged for items that are a necessity for me, items found online for less then Hausers lists them for. Wheelchair parts that are ordered seem to take upwards of 2-3 months. Then the wrong parts are brought and the wait resumes, usually another month or so. Joy stick unit comes loose often and I have to screw bolts back in myself.. I'm told the loose parts are supposed to be that way. I was unaware the wheelchair I'm forced to live in is supposed to fall apart. Very disappointed in Hausers and will be making an effort to switch healthcare providers. It's a sad world when the disabled are forced to live this way.
