Brought my car in as the power steering was leaking. Older vehicle but no rust like new under. 160k...Was told by the older person in the shop... " NO CANT BE FIXED...BUY A NEW CAR" without even looking at it. UNBELIEVABLE. Need to retire if you're that miserable. Update. 1. You didnt even put it on the hoist to check it out. 2. Your attitude was DISGRACEFUL. 3. Someone else said they can fix it so your wrong again. .4 I've researched it as you should have done and that repair is fixable. Perhaps you need to retire . Just a suggestion.

Really great mechanics. I’ve lived in Ottawa for 15 years and still only get my vehicles serviced by Nick at Napa AutoPro when I’m in town. If you are someone who doesn’t know much about vehicles and you’re looking for an honest, trustworthy mechanic with good prices (and who explains everything in layman’s terms so it’s easy to understand) then this is the place for you! Highly highly recommend. 10/10!!

Went to change Windshield wiper, they decided to do unauthorized work outside the scope of what was discussed, broke my windshield, heavily implied they would fix the damage they caused, then held my vehicle for ransom.Also asked them to look at the battery because it was draining faster than normal, they said it was fine. 1 hour after I got it back, the battery was dead, took it to a real autoshop and they fixed in half an hour. Runs perfectly after taking elsewhere. Napa Autopro probably didn't even look at it.I've talked to other auto mechanics (Reliable Automotive and Canadian Tire) and had said if Napa Autopro conformed to industry standard procedures (and common sense), this wouldn't have happened. Every other auto mechanic were shocked that someone would conduct business in this way.They never gave me the opportunity to give informed consent, apparently knowing that they would almost certainly do hundreds of dollars worth of damage for something they admitted I didn't need to get done.Very unprofessional, very rude, would never allow me to talk or ask questions, super shady. Just imagine an elementary school bully running an autoshop.Based on the way they acted, it seems like they do this quite a lot. Please be careful.They do not act ethically, they do not care about their customers. They operated in bad faith.Service: Battery

Hometown has consistently given us great service on our vehicle over the past decade. We used them back when they were a Midas location. Great service then, great service now. Staff is friendly and quick to offer shuttle service or vehicle pickup (with the current COVID-19 restrictions). Mechanics do the work right the first time. Last visit was a simple tie rod. Asked them to check brakes, steering and suspension. Invariably I end up spending less than I expected. Time before my last visit they had my car 2 hrs and told me it was covered by warranty from work I had them do several months previously.Would recommend them highly to family and friends.
