I’m furious with the terrible service at Canadian Tire. I tried to return an unopened product, and the manager blatantly lied, claiming they don’t carry it in-store, so she refused the refund. I checked online, and the exact same product is listed as available in that location! This kind of dishonesty is unacceptable, and I can’t believe they treat customers this way. How can anyone feel confident shopping at Canadian Tire when their staff can’t be trusted to tell the truth?

Visited the Automotive Service Department on October 15th at 3pm had a flat tire blow on me on the highway in a rush to get 2hrs away (Barry) and no spare got the car towed in arrived by 4:30PM didn't even call just hoping they had time.
When I arrived I saw the shop was full and I was already expecting to not be able to get in, Spoke with the Advisor Ryan and Martino and explained my situation both had explained that I should leave the vehicle overnight as they were getting close too closing time and no guarantee it could get done in time just incase it may not be repairable.
As I was leaving Ryan called me back and Martino offered to stay past 5 (which is the closing time for this location) just to help me get my tire repaired and get me back on the road. The mechanic named Faheme? spelling may be incorrect worked on my car and got my repair done by 5:45 and Martino got me out the door.
I've been to many different Canadian Tires I have never spoken with such helping Advisors and hard working Mechanics that are willing to stay past a time and not even get paid for it just to help another person.
Highly recommend this location.

Brought my car in since it was not starting after having spent nearly $2000 a year prior replacing my alternator and battery. This time, they initially said it was the positive cable on the battery for $200+ and a diagnosit of 70+tax. I agreed to these, got a call back saying that they need to replace the starter for an additional $1200 since they "THINK" it was the starter. I asked them why would the car start with a boost if the starter is faulty, the manager John Rashid started calling me unreasonable and refused to continue on the call, he immediately said
" you know what, we're gonna bring your car to the curb and off you go"
Extremely unprofessional and unqualified mechanics and manager run this racket, avoid at all costs and they will rip you off the best they can.
Took my car to my dealership and they had it working again the same day with no cost. It did not need a new starter at all, this was just a cash grab by these money-hungry charlatans.

For sure I had the worst experience in shopping at CT. No return policy! They put all their effort in avoiding any return. Shame on Canada for having these kind of stores. How dare you are that you don’t take your rubbish products back?! You think you are doing well in avoiding returns. But this is the first steps of your unemployment! No one will continue buying from your stores!

I bought a heater at home and found out that it doesn't heat at all, but it turned out that you can't return the goods! I'm not satisfied with the goods that you sell, but you don't accept them back! This is not the right business policy! This is a shame and disgrace! I will never return to this network again! And I tell all my friends what kind of care you have for your customers

An item was opened but not used because it wasn't the correct one. At the time of purchase, I inquired about the return policy and was assured that a return would be possible as long as the item wasn't damaged. However, when I attempted to return it, they refused, citing that the package had been opened and could not be reshelved. There will be no more shopping at Canadian tire for me!

I purchased a rice cooker yesterday, and I was so impressed with the customer service that I had to ask for the cashier's name just so I could leave this review!
"Ann D Cruz" greeted me with a warm, genuine smile, and her friendly personality instantly made the shopping experience enjoyable. She provided detailed information about the product, which helped me make a confident choice. Her professionalism and positive attitude left a lasting impression on me.
