“I stopped into Dandelion Foods today and all I have to say is wow! I was blown away by the selection of supplements, REAL health foods, and carefully curated products. The team here has clearly done their homework to carefully avoid hyper processed foods, high vegetable oil products, and factor farmed produce. Their collection of natural immunity supplements (Hoast Defense, bee Perpolis, etc...), regenerative farming produce, and quality control items really impressed me. For anyone anxious about COVID/RSV/flu, concerned about their health, or just looking for quality groceries, this is the place to go. Bravo!”
“Ten out of ten store is the perfect size and I love the bulk section. On behalf of all seniors I could argue that having someone live 65 plus years in a small local store and then stripping them all of what they are used to has been a substantial reason why they feel so lost in society which leads to mental awareness break down as nothing is familiar. I'd sue the government of Canada for incompetence and a lack of foresight only caring about the quick way to make a buck.”
“Great selection but the prices are high compared to no frills, food basics or even Wal-Mart and Giant Tiger. Food quality like deli counter and fresh meat are of better quality but pricey”

“On first glances the Pakenham General Store is the sort of place I dislike; a culinary store selling over-priced olives, chutneys and artisanal chips.BUT you quickly realize that it’s not that sort of place at all because the majority of the food is made on site, with love and is delicious!Sticky buns, butter tarts, bread rolls and loaves, cheese sticks and a sausage roll that gets better with each visit.But special mention has to go to the sandwich bar at the back where a host of lovely ladies (who I suspect are the evil masterminds behind all the baked loveliness) make an uncomplicated sandwich on white bread with a choose of meats, condiments and toppings. And they do so with a twinkle in their eyes which makes my heart sing.What a treasure to discover in the lovely town and long may it remain!”
