We spent $10,000 for this couch and a chair, paid for 5 years of insurance - and NO ONE WILL RETURN OUR CALLS. WE HAVE LEFT MULTI MESSAGES SINCE JUNE. A repairman came in spring and said a part needed to be ordered. One side of the couch will not fully return. This is now November!!!

Terrible service. Been trying for a month to reach the customer care warranty department. Have sent emails, left phone messages and not getting any reply. My warranty is up in a few days, guess they are waiting for that to run out. I don't even need a service call, just a replacement part.

I purchased a sofa on May 31st. I was told it would take 4-8 weeks. It's been 19 weeks, and no sofa. No communication since August 20th despite emails and phone calls. Horrible customer service and terrible communication with clients. I will never purchase anything here ever again.

Upper Room has declared bankruptcy as of July 10/24. They continued to sell and take deposits until Sept.
There is no info coming from company, local CTV news reported Sept 10/24 their closure

Right now I am not very happy with the Customer Service at the Upper Room on Hunt Club. On September 6, they delivered a leather couch and a stressless chair. They are both fine. The Ottoman that I had also purchased was supposed to be delivered without castors...that had been pre-arranged with the Sales Rep. The castors were still on the Ottoman so the drivers took the Ottoman back to the warehouse and promised that we would get in the next week. I have been trying to call the store every day this week to find out the status of the Ottoman. No answer, no return calls. Today, September 14, I decided to drive over to the Hunt Club store to find the doors LOCKED. There were several customers at the door in the same predicament. Please let us know what is going on ??? Unhappy customer.

Ordered a chair 6 months ago and have not recieved it. I have been attempting to get info on my order and there have been no response. Avoid this company, I'm out close to 2k on a deposit.

If I could go zero I would. Paid 50% for a sectional and chair in March 2024, for expected delivery June 2024. It's now October 2024, no delivery, the order wasn't even placed and the doors are closed, we're out the deposit ??. Bad business

I ordered a couch from this store and it was well over $5,000.00. However, I will not be getting the couch and have lost all my money because the business filed for bankruptcy on July 10. The manufacturer contacted me to advise that my couch was ready for delivery two weeks ago. No one from the store ever bothered to contact me. The retailer failed to pay the manufacturer and the manufacturer will not release the couch to me until I pay again. For everyone wondering why they are not answering phones or emails, this is why. Hopefully you don’t end up in the same terrible situation as me.

Declared bankruptcy and went no contact. I got my stressless and dining room table but will never get the dining room chairs I ordered.

Bankrupt - Employees not paid - no notice - just locked out. Customers deposits are gone and so is their furniture. Upper Room filed for bankruptcy in July but strung everyone along until September ... these employees have families to feed.

Took a 20 thousand dollar deposit from my wife and I, and declared bankcrupty 1 month later. Not returning phone calls or emails. Thankfully I purchased with Visa, so they are doing an investigation, but there still may be a chance we lose our 20 k... This should be illegal.
