Well-stocked, clean Korean grocery with delicious premade food and friendly staff. A great alternative to large chain groceries in the area!

I love Seoul Mart! Having grown up in Ottawa as a Korean Canadian, there weren’t very many stores back in the day that carried a variety of Korean goods. Ever since Seoul Mart opened, it’s my one stop shop for all my Korean cooking products. I really like their banchan and am so happy they carry frozen chadolbaegi because it’s difficult to find elsewhere. I do wish it was a little more affordable, but that’s applicable across all grocery stores.

They have an incredible selection of authentic Korean products, from snacks to meals and side dishes.
I was particularly excited to find the viral "sweet potato bread," which I'd seen on Tiktok and IG. It was a bit of a treasure hunt, hidden away at the bottom of the fridge. Turns out, the owner had saved the last one to share with his staff later, which I thought was such a sweet gesture.
The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. They laughed and chatted with me and up for selling the last one - which was absolutely delicious! It was so chewy and gooey, just like I'd heard. They also have a potato version, which I'm definitely going to try next.
If you're looking for a great place to find Korean staples or any trending Korean products, I highly recommend this store. Not only do they have a fantastic selection of products, but the staff and owner are incredibly friendly and sweet!

I just moved into the area and one of the biggest selling points was being close to a high quality Korean grocery store! I visited for the first time the other day, and it was excellent. So many options, a lot of fresh meat, tons of kimchi and fresh banchan (side dishes), and some onigiri (I know that's the Japanese word for it) and kimbap too.
I haven't had a chance to try their fried chicken yet, but next time I definitely will!

I used to shop here often, but no more. Today, I was parked (legally) near their store, and a delivery truck making a delivery boxed me in my car, so I could neither move nor could the passenger seat be accessed. I asked them politely to move, because my husband (who uses a cane) was about to arrive. Refused to move, made my husband stand and wait to get in the car, and an individual who appeared to work at the store was rude to me in front of my husband -- he actually told me to "just go". They say they're wheelchair accessible, but making a man with a cane stand and wait when he has pain? I'll shop elsewhere, thanks.

The positive energy in the store is great. The prices are very reasonable esp since you would be charged more for international products at a big chain supermarket when you could just support a small business. The produce was also very cheap. The people working there were EXTREMELY nice and helpful. I was able to shop in peace and help came exactly when I needed it. As a black person I felt extremely welcomed, safe and at home in this store.
Also, this neighbourhood is nice with beautiful trees and clean streets. This a MUST place to visit this summer. I set up an account with them for points and I will be coming back for their ice cream and gimbap.

Also have everything we are looking for, decent prices.
F - grade to “Simon” below who is blaming the store cause he couldn’t bother to check the Best By date before buying.

Price of gimbap is insane, its cheaper in a sit-down restaurant. They don't even keep it in the fridge which is a bit concerning when meat is in it. Payed $11 for a beef roll only for it to be extremely dry and almost expired. Last time I came it was a lot better.. sorry

I've been going there almost every week for quite a long time and it's always 5 stars: cleanliness, variety, presentation, quality, service, kindness. Their kimchi is really excellent.

Update: There’s NO such thing written on your price label informing that it’s an EXPIRED product. DOES WALMART FLYER ITEMS ALL EXPIRING ?
It’s “GREAT” to find out they are selling REFRIGERATED PRODUCTS that has EXPIRED more than a week. In the middle of the shelf! KEEP YOUR EYES ON THIS DISHONEST MERCHANT! NEVER COME AGAIN.
