I had a fantastic experience at Carstar Collision! The staff was friendly and professional, providing clear explanations throughout the repair process. My car was returned looking brand new, and they even cleaned the interior and exterior as a nice touch. Communication was excellent, with regular updates on the progress. I highly recommend Carstar Collision for their outstanding service and quality work!

First of all, never had I had a better experience, when a 3 car pile accident,I was in the middle. Kenny R. Is your man to see!he went beyond and above standards to make my situation goe as smooth and silk. He was informed and kept me in the loop at all times. HE ASLO WENT ABOVE his duties and allowed me to get my car back in time for me to get home. KENNY R. Is a man who knows what it's like to be a working class average guy who just needs help and a break in life. CARSTAR!!! Kenny R has MANAGEMENT SKILLS and a personality that relates to the kindness of everyday people. He should be promoted to a Management level.. this is the kind of employees you want to have running your garage and front counters, not people on the phones that tell your customers..
"Sorry, there's nothing we can do,that's the way it is!"
THANKS Again Kenny.. Promote Him!

I was asked to bring my car three weeks before they even staring working on it. I only had a minor scratch. After calling them multiple times, they finally started on my car. The process only took one day but I had to have a rental for a month. The end result was not even good. There were bumps in the paint as if there is dirt or dust in it. When I complained, they attempted to buff it out but it still has bumps. I just left it because It wasn't worth the fight and I wanted my car back.

I am very happy w/ my experience at Carstar from beginning to end. Cathlyn is your first point of contact when you enter. Very friendly, helpful and on the ball. Ken was very helpful and great communication from beginning to end. I am very happy w/ the repair, and bonus, my Seltos came out cleaner than when I brought it in. I did not expect to get it cleaned inside and out. Thank you Carstar, Ken and Cathlyn!-John Anderson - Spectrum Insights

Unfortunately this was the earliest body shop that has an available schedule to appraise my repair cost. They're very poor in communication, they will always say I'll update you in email or will call you back with an update and blah blah blah but there's always no updates unless you call them and ask them again.I just don't understand why they have to schedule an early drop off date and don't do the work the following days.My car was dropped off last February 15, called them couple of days before and asked them if all the car parts are there and the receptionist lady told me that she'll check and she assured me that yes everything is there as far as she could see.Had to booked a very late start work for my wife that day because we had the 3 kids and nobody can take care of them on that day, when we arrived at Carstar, Chris told me the parts haven't arrived yet, he told me he'll call kia Donnelly about it and came back 45mins later from my scheduled dropped off and told me that they can take my car now and the parts will arrived in 2 days expedited by the manager of kia Donnelly at his own expense.I feel like too much baloney and shady thing going own but what can I do? My wife lost couple of hours to start work and I had to call a day off to do this drop off thing, I thought it was just gonna be a simple and easy drop off thing but it went to too much hassle.I don't want to come back in a later date because it will make us changed our working schedule again, we lost a lot of income already and I don't want to add more to it because of there employees incompetence in managing a proper communication and verifying things appropriately. One thing I noticed, they went ahead and cleaned my car again when I dropped it off and it went to the lot close to the west hunt club rd.If you asked me how did I know?My car has a Kia Connect where I can request to locate my car via satellite search.I always keep tract of what's going on in my car, where it's at now and I also call Carstar and asks what's going on.I did my due diligence on my side and they told me car is for pick up on the 29th and they told me to call 29th Thursday morning which I did but when I checked my car on the kia connect app, only on Thursday morning did my car went inside there shop. And when I called they told me it's not yet done because there's a missing piece.I mean cmon my car has been sitting there for 2weeks and they didn't do anything, obviously it won't be finish.I don't think this guy's realize that I'm tracking them where they put my car which pretty much indicates if work was being done or they're just doing delaying tactics and tries to talk there way out.The employees aren't rude when you talk to them in person but the overall experience on making the work to be done is just pretty awful.POOREST COMMUNICATION AND A LOT OF DISHONESTY.I WISH THEY COULD BE MORE TRANSPARENT ABOUT EVERYTHING.I had to call Kia Donnelly and did my own thing to get any real update about the parts they requested from them and it was kinda shady because it sounds to me they're not ordering the parts from KIA and they're a Kia dealership. My car is even a latest model. They're employees also mentioned that the missing parts is called a blind spot module and it only cost like 11bucks or something and I could have it done when I'm in Edmonton. When I went to Kia on Hunt club and asked for the missing body part they told me they don't have that in there system, and maybe they're talking about a radar sensor since it's in the left side but it doesn't cost 11bucks, it 1270 and there's two stocks available in Toronto so I'm really confused which is which.I tried reaching out to Carstar and they told me they'll call me again about it but it's already two weeks plus and nobody called as usual. The work done exterior wise:looks good, but I don't know about the insides because based on my experience talking with them,

Overall, not a bad experience. On the positive side, their customer service in person was great, they had commented a few times that they are running behind, but they were very calm.I have to agree with the other reviews on here, the delay in getting my car back was a bit too long, considering I had booked a time to drop it off. I needed the front bumper replaced, and it took about 6 weeks for the appointment because they were backed up. I can understand there being delays, but perhaps delaying the drop off to minimize the time without a car would make more customers happy - I was without my car for 10 days.I did have to call several times for updates on my car, and I went to go pick it up when they said it was in detailing. When I was going through the inspection with my representative, he had indicated they found some rusty bolts that they had to replace and charged me $190 for them. At the end of the day, it wasn't a big deal because it needed to be done, but at all other service places I have been too if there was any additional work that needed to be completed that was agreed upon initially, the garage would contact me to review their findings before proceeding with work. So I was pretty disappointed with that as well. The work was great, but overall I think they need to work on their scheduling and communication with their clients.
