I love Home Depot with a passion. This location is lovely and perfect for 90% of things. There’s a few managers here and all are amazing EXCEPT for Lorita. Lorita is a very dismissive and rude and impatient worker. I don’t mean to be racist or anything but her behaviour is very ghetto. She does not belong as a customer service worker much worse a manager. I had a problem with a return and she barely listened and just said we don’t do that here and LITERALLY walked away. Like that’s never happened ever to me as a customer so I was extremely shocked. The next day I came back to ask another manager, Jeff, and he explained everything so well and actually listened and helped. The answer was the same and I was so okay with it but the way it was handled by Lorita was so low class. She does not deserve her position as this company is prestigious and she has a terrible attitude

I really don't write reviews until it's a very bad experience. Extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Home Depot today. I was subjected to blatant racial profiling by the manager. Found out from the cashier she is the manager, was told her name is Loretta.
From the moment I entered the store, I noticed the manager looking at me and than started following me around suspiciously. She trailed me through every aisle, watching my every move as if I were a potential thief and waited in the aisle, and was also disrespectful to the employee in front of a paying customer. This continued until I was led my way to the checkout counter by her with my item I intended to purchace in her hand. I wanted to buy more items from a different section, didn't give me time to look around and felt forced to checkout early.
The entire experience was humiliating and made me feel unwelcome in a store I've coming for years. It's shocking that despite my significant spending history at this location (20-25k last month), which is easily verifiable through my XtraPRO account, I was treated with such disrespect and suspicion. This kind of discriminatory behavior is unacceptable, especially from a major retailer that claims to value its customers. I'm deeply disappointed that Home Depot would allow such practices.
It's clear that my loyalty means nothing if I'm going to be profiled based on my appearance and I expected much better from a company of this size and reputation.
This experience has seriously damaged my trust in Home Depot. I'm now reconsidering whether I want to continue doing business with a company that allows its employees to engage in such discriminatory practices. Home Depot needs to do better in training its staff and ensuring all customers are treated with respect, regardless of their race or ethnicity.

I hope the management reads this message and follow up with Argentia branch ask why the hell nobody picks the phone???
Also, there should be a data of calls made and not picked by the staff, and ensure staff is held accountable for this, it's just nonsense!

This location has a very bad customer service. I have to look around for somebody to help me. I couldn’t even get help at the rental Department I waited for 30 minutes and nobody came all the people there was just congregating in one area

Purchased an appliance and the delivery didn’t test the product. I am now in hold with the manufacturer (past my 48hrs when HD would assist). The staff in appliances are great - but make sure you have the delivery check. Not impressed. HD, no need to reply this with a “go to instagram”.

Surprising as it might sound I had the best customer service experience I've ever had . Period. I returned some lumber to exchange for longer posts. The staff looked our the right ones has them loaded on a cart then helped load them on my truck with no waiting around and did it in a helpful manner . Twilight zone

Aisle assistance for locating precise hardware was found wanting. This shop is meant for bulk purchases.

This location used to be great. Now, the customer service team near the self checkout area feels more like security guards. It's extremely disappointing to have someone hovering over you when you are trying to scan and pay. The craziest example of this was a few months ago. I was approaching the kiosks and a rep asked if she can check up me out. I said "no, I'm good" she persisted and said she will do it. I said "no thanks. If it's alright with you I'll do it myself" I started to check out my 4 items from my cart. All big items easy to see what I had in there. At the same time, someone else was self checking out his items as well. Note: His complexion was the opposite of mine. I didn't think anything about our physical appearances at the time until later... I finished paying for my 4 items, put them back in my cart. The other man walked out, and all was fine with him. As I approached the exit, my cart locked up and stopped moving. This has never happened to me, I didn't even know that was a function. I turned and around and asked that the service rep who was pressuring me to have her check me out had her hands on a button. She said something under her breath in another language and came of to me and started lifting my items to "check them" she stated in English. I was really upset and asked the rep "why is this happening to me and what was the difference between my process checking out and the other man who just left?" She didn't answer. She just started lifting each item to check under them. She displayed zero empathy, had zero apology for finding nothing inappropriate. She finally said "your good now" That's when it was clear to me. Her initial asks to do it for me was her way of making it clear that she assumed I was a thief. I have been going to that location for 10 years and it's sad that profiling is part of their experience now. When I think back to previous recent visits it was similar with obsessive questions if I need help checking out and or someone hovering near me. If these self check out machines are related to shrinkage and the store is losing money, why have them? Why treat 'some' customers like criminals and others not? I have not been back to this location since then, and I'm not going back. Some may read this review and say " he should have just let her check him out". My point writing all of this is there is a lot that has changed and is continuing to change. Customer service is a practice that is slowly going away. I shouldn't have to feel awful leaving a place that I've spent thousands in total over the years. I'm just glad my kids weren't with me to witness this behavior that is clearly accepted or encouraged by that Home Depots management.

I've been shopping here for as long as I can remember. Staff at this store seem more knowledgeable than other Home Depots I've visited. Generally good selection and inventory. Tool rental folks are helpful.

I usually don't write negative reviews, but my experience at this Home Depot was extremely disappointing. The manager (Maria, I believe) was SUPER unhelpful and rude. When I mentioned that one of her employees had explained how I could return my items, she simply said, "Well, I am the boss, and I say no."
There are better ways to communicate—acknowledging the miscommunication on her team’s part would have been appreciated. My family and I have been loyal customers, giving this location a lot of business. Unfortunately, after this experience, we will no longer be shopping here, especially due to the way Maria handled the situation. It's not about the return itself but the lack of courtesy and professionalism. DO NOT COME TO THIS LOCATION.
