If you want very poor service (and error in paint order) this is the place for you. And don’t waste your time sharing your disappointing experience with the Manage / Owner / and expect a refund for their errors because his policy is “they don’t do refunds”.Unbelievable but true.The Manager / owner simply does not care. Full stop. Shocking in todays standard of business but true. Their first error was in the paint finish which I specifically asked for a satin finish but instead given a ‘soft gloss’ and told it was the same. Which it is not!! I trusted they know paint. The paint was applied and it was shiny and not a satin. I returned the paint and was told that they could do a satin finish but it would cost me $30 more. I purchased the second can of paint, applied it and the color was completely off. I went back to the store and shared photos of the difference. The ‘Manager’ said that it might have to be shaken more. Seriously!? At this point I asked to have a refund given the errors in paints and a frustrating customer experience. He did not care. Would not refund the purchase. We have over many years purchased paint at this location (clearly a previous store owner) spent significant dollars yet the Manager was unwilling to own their errors and do the right thing.Choose a Benjamin Moore supplier where they know paint, deliver what you order and with proper customer service. Paint and Paper Place - is a very poor choice.Manager - you know precisely this matter. Paint and Paper Place. Dundas St location / the old design centre.

Stopped in 5:45 pm to pick up a gallon of bathroom paint. My first mistake apparently as the young lady was clearly not happy at a last minute job before closing. She was not able to bring my “profile” up in your system and although I knew my colour, I said it should be there as I’ve purchased about 10 gallons over last couple months, and they’ve brought it up each time. She replied”I’m not trying to hide your account from you, it’s not here”. I thought I realized what was happening when she said “account” and the gentleman behind me spoke up and said I wasn’t a contractor like him to which she snarled an account is simply a profile. She was rude, unfriendly and should not be involved in customer service in my opinion.However, I do know the colour I need as I’m doing a whole house ready to show and can and will easily find another Benjamin Moore to direct my business to.

The young lady who works here should be teaching a class in customer service! One of the nicest, friendliest, and most helpful sales associates I've ever encountered. Can't recommend this place enough.

Their hours of operation suggest they open from 8am to 6 pm. However, I came here on Tuesday and Thursday at around 830 to 8:45 a.m., and they were closed on both occasions. People were left waiting outside (at least 4 people combined, excluding myself). They haven't updated the hours or anything like that. It is not very professional to waste people's time.

It is not open till 5 pm on Saturday despite the store hours on door state it to be open till 5 pm

Micheal and Jennis are very friendly and professional. They gave us so many useful suggestions about paints and colours, and the paints are really high quality! I've been dealing with so many paint stores, and this is the by far the best paint store ever! We will only use this store for our company painting. Highly recommended!

We have done business with every Benjamin moore in the GTA. This is by far the worst.This owner clearly does not care about customer service. The employees that work here are clueless.Multiple times I have arrived at 8am opening to pick up my order called in the night before and sat in my car waiting 30 - 45 min. Today I had to leave and buy paint elsewhere because I had employees im paying waiting at the job.This store has cost me money on multiple occasions. Today they cost me $200+ in time/ payroll losses. I will drive the extra 10 minutes from now on to go to another location.Take a look at all the other reviews with the same issue.

A wonderful experience! This was my first time visiting a paint store, and Bradley and Dakota really took the time to explain paints to me. Bradley also helped me understand what colors go with other colors and how to plan a room's color scheme. I could tell he was genuinely interested in ensuring I find colors and finishes that I am happy with. This was among the most excellent experiences I have ever had in any store!Contractors tend to rave about Benjamin Moore, and now I understand why.

Waited for the store to open for 47 minutes yesterday.Sign is posted as 8am-6am. I read that a month ago the same thing happened.The phone number seems to go to a fax machine.I would have left the store, except they had the order and I didn’t have the information to give another store and Guess what!!?? They didn’t even have the order ready that was called in on Friday to be ready for Saturday. Except decided to pick it up today. There was no note at all for someone else to mix the paint…Wow!!Apparently Mike the manager called another worker in to cover for his shift. The person apparently didn’t get that call until the morning at the time the store is to open!! ??♀️ Other stores usually have two people opening as it gets busy in the mornings. The second person walked in around 9:20am.I got to work 2 hrs late.

This store has a great choice of stuff. A consultant Janice is extremely supportive, polite, and knowledgeable. She also offered me nice tea. That's I appreciated very much.I would highly recommend the store for any renovation projects.

When I first went to the PAINT & PAPER PLACE I picked out my own colour for the paint job I wanted to do. When I finish the job, it was not even close to what I wanted to match. When I went back to the store I met Mike the owner .This time I took pictures to show him the project. He picked another colour for me .He actually mixed it with the original can that I previously had purchased. It was "BANG ON" when I tried it at home . He told me that the answer was part science and part mathematics. I would strongly recommend Mike the owner of PAINT & PAPER PLACE if you need a true professional and great service !As a real estate agent, I will surely recommend him to my clients who are either buying or selling their home and wished to paint some areas.

Mike sounds like a good manager from the review here. However, the service lady at the counter today displayed the worst customer service experience i ever had from paint store. I am a contractor and today had to go to rhis dundas location due to convenience. I asked the lady it i can get the matching price as my regular paint .supplier in Burlington?She asked me for the proof of receipt. Now I understand if she couldn’t match the price and perhaps offered the best deal.. when i asked if she could match the price, instead of simply saying “sorry i cant,” or other reason, she slapped my business card on the counter and left. I picked my business card and left the store. This was he most horrible experience i have ever had. Unbelievable. No way to treat your product supporter like that even if i am not a client.
