My friend was taken advantage by Joseph, he sold her a car and "safety" the vehicle under a different name. The window washer pump was broken, trani lines all broken, and the check engine light came on a day after receiving the vehicle. The day we went to get the vehicle as he said she could, we drove there and he said it would be one more day, three days later. When she tried to call him, (as he said she could if there were any issues) he never picked up. Ignored text messages. When the car was taken to a proper shop the owner doesn't even feel safe giving her a vehicle back that could just stop at anytime. So Thank You very much Joseph

DO NOT TRUST JOEY OR MICHAEL!!! I bought a 2000 Honda CRV from them in 2017. When I bought the car from Joey, he told me that he had done extensive work on the car and he just needed to finish the exhaust work for a safety. Joey assured me that it was a dependable Honda CR-V. I should note that the safety inspection and certification was done by his father Micheal Doherty. Within 2 months, I had major issues with the car and I was left with little recourse. I became aware that a safety is as worthless as the paper it’s written on.In March, less than 2 months after buying the car, the muffler fell off. At first, Joey seemed accommodating and apologetic. He agreed to fix the muffler at no charge. I made an appointment for after work that week. Unfortunately, when I went to drive to this appointment, my brakes went out. Joey apologized again and offered to send his tow truck driver because he could get me a cheap rate and I agreed. I thought at this point he would fix the car properly or I would get my money back, but it just gets worse. The tow truck that picked up my car, damaged it, destroying 2 tires. Joey even had the nerve to try and blame me, even though there were clear markings on the tires from the tow truck. After much argument, I had to pay an additional $750 for the brake repair and towing for them to give the car back to me. And He only replaced one tire, so I no longer had a spare tire.After that experience, I took the car to another mechanic and guess what?!!! All the brake lines had to be redone. Joey is a liar and a cheat.

Since we are young working girls who don’t know much about cars we’ve had bad experiences with repair shops before whom have either overcharged us , or came on to us - but Mike Joey and Jeremy at Global Auto care treated us with respect, didn’t try to overcharge us, and completed the work on our car while we waited watching a few free movies in their comfy waiting room. We were treated promptly as well as fairly and would recommend them to anybody who has had bad experiences in the past with other auto repair shops.

Mike and Jeremy are among the hardest working mechanics in the Ottawa area. Very honest and will work after hours and weekends to finish a customer's car when needed .Last of the truly honest guys out there .Joey is a character but goes out of his way to make you happy. I live on the other side of town but it's worth the drive out.
