Rita and company, completely renewed our very large heavy Mennonite made Black wood table, 2 leaves and 8 heavy black wood chairs; to perfection!! So remarkable! There was a deep gash and also some crazy glue on the table surface plus 9 years of frequent family meals, wear and tear, GONE! Almost ever chair had scratches scrape and nicks, all gone. Everything looks brand new and perfect! Could not have asked for better! Thank you Rita and the other at The Strippers in Kitchener, excellent job!

Reasonable work but attention to detail is lacking. Had some chairs in to be stripped (I was going to refinish them myself). When I picked them up, they had been stripped, but they also had new splatters of paint of finish of some sort on them. It looked like overspray from some other job they were doing. When I pointed it out, the staff just shrugged and said, "That'll come right off with stripper and sanding." Not the end of the world, but was disappointed in the lack of pride in their work. On the other hand, the chairs had been well-stripped.

Excellent workmanship. 3 jobs done in past 3 years. Kitchen cupboard doors spray painted cloud white. Antique doors stripped and stained. Vanity drawers and doors stripped and stained.

Had an exterior door that was over 100 years old stripped of 6 layers of paint and made ready for staining. I cannot complement Rita and her staff enough on the results of their work and their professionalism. Would highly recommend this business.

We have a tv cabinet that we purchased from St. Jacobs furniture 12 years ago and we never liked the colour which was orangey but was made by Mennonites out of solid maple.We finally decided to refinish it in a colour that matched our decor at home. We were told that the strippers were the best for this. We took a picture of it and went to see Rita the owner and she said it would cost about $$$ to strip and refinish it. We picked a colour that she custom mixed and it was perfect for our decor. We booked a time with her and it was a month later but that was ok. She did a great job getting the old finish off and re staining it to a beautiful white washed finish. I would highly recommend the strippers on gage street in Kitchener.

This company provides some seriously high quality work, I am beyond impressed.I brought a cabinet door to them to refinish after my kids steamed the lacquer right off it. These cupboards are 20 years old, and even the manufacturer would not try to match the stain colour for me. Strippers not only matched the colour perfectly but they did so quickly, and at a very fair price as well.I would recommend Strippers to anyone that needs a quality refinishing service and would not hesitate to use their services again if needed. They are friendly, reliable and VERY good at what they do.I could not be happier with my experience with Strippers, they are not just refinishers, they are true artists!AAAAA++++++

Extremely pleased with the work that The Strippers did on my antique chair. The chair holds great sentimental value and as you can see from the before and after pictures, their work is top notch and I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for this kind of work done. 10/10.

We had an antique rocking chair that a moving company broke in our move. After plenty of research we choose strippers because the way they were going to fix the wood on the broken leg was the one we were most comfortable with. They did an amazing job! They offered to upholster, but we declined as we are waiting until it is necessary but will be back! They were thorough and they were communicative. It took longer than we anticipated but it was worth the wait.

These talented people did MAJOR repairs to my grandparent's 100 year old wicker chairs. They are so talented! Thank you is not enough! These chairs will be passed down to our children and grandchildren now, because of you! Also thanks to Rudy's upholstery for doing the seat cushions on this restoration! Awesome job as well!

I was referred to the Strippers by a professional interior decorator. I have used them several times and have been very pleased with the communication and service. In both cases the furniture they refinished has looked stunning. I appreciate that you can custom pick your stain while trying different stain combinations right on the piece. Thank you

We moved from Calgary Alberta to Brantford Ontario and our movers damaged 90% of our Teak vintage designer furniture. We contacted the Strippers and explained our situation where we lived and what happened in the move, they seemed very eager to work with us and our insurance company.
We sent them many pictures both before and after along with detailed measurements for them to give us a rough estimate on the repairs. After I sent them they stated that they would need to come to home to view the items. I agreed and sent them our address.
We did not get any response for two weeks so we called them. They stated that they did not know we lived in Brantford and that they only service Kitchener and Waterloo area therefore they could not help us, this was a bold face lie we clearly informed them other wise we would not have done all that work without checking first.
We now have to start the process all over again with another company. Very disappointed in the customer service and communication they offer. What a waste of a month of work. On top of everything we have gone through that is what we received from them. Do not trust what they have to say unless you want to waste your time as well.

We are so pleased with our new dining room suite that you refinished. Although the pieces are not the same wood, now they all match and are useful for us. As you know, we removed the straw and old innards of the chairs. Now we have new foam and very comfortable seating. I'd like to send you a picture of the suite.
