Last year I purchased a snowboard. Now that the season is around the corner again needed to grab some gear. Went found everything I was looking for but didn't obtain most of it. According to the staff working at the retailer, I was informed that prices might be dropping even lower nearing the upcoming Holiday season. But all in all I found what I came for also all my questions were answered, and was given more useful information than I was seeking. Looking forward to visiting in the foreseeable future to finish collecting the necessary gear for the upcoming season ahead.

Joseph (and the gentleman he was training) helped my boyfriend and I purchase snowboard boots and bindings and was extremely helpful. He was very knowledgable and let us know about all the deals and promotions. He took about an hour with us and we left extremely happy and satisfied! I often get nervous about purchasing items this expensive, but I didn't feel this way at all. Thank you Joesph and his friend!

In terms of customer service, this place goes above and beyond. I found a pair of shoes from two years ago with a receipt that I completely forgot about. The management, without hesitation, allowed me to exchange them for a pair of shoes I wanted. Coming in with a receipt is one thing, but shoes from two years ago? They easily could have said no. Thank you, Limeridge staff, for an awesome experience.#2021

They don’t provide bags unless you buy a $2 reusable bag where a donation goes to jumpstart. I probably won’t come back again for this reason… at least there should be an option other than donating to a charity for $2 or no bag whatsoever. At least if there was a paper option it would be reusable and maybe not a donation to jump start.

-THANK YOU- TO THE BIKE SHOP GUYS! I didn't want to be a nightmare customer, we just had an issue getting the bike in the car. I'm so grateful to the tech who built my bike and came out to help/show us a quick tip. Seriously, I can't say enough about how helpful everyone at this location has been. Give em a raise!

I'm really mixed about my stop at Sportchek. The employees at the footwear section were amazing and very quick to help or offer help, however at the cash my cashier, Mikayla, seemed like she wanted nothing to do with helping, she would ask me the questions she obviously has to but would cut my answer off by asking the next question. She made this visit really disappointing and I left wanting to go elsewhere with hopes of being respected.

I have to stay, despite some random chaos that happen in the store that night, customer service was awesome while purchasing the bike. The random events could have detract easily from the service, but they remained focused on the customer experience.

Only one cashier that too rude. Doesn’t know how to speak to or about a toddler. If a three year old is running and not hurting anyone can someone force him to not run or is it ok to call out rudely without any please and thank you? I am not comfortable as a mother of a toddler to come back at this location just because of her rude behaviour and embarrassing us.

THANK YOU for fixing the below mention issue, had a great experience on getting a replacement.I purchased a nike shoes in aug 2021, which started developing cracks on both the shoes. Sport chek does not cover any warranty to fix it, they asked me to reach Nike and Nike Canada says they take the shoes as return only if the shoes was purchased from a Nike outlet or website even if it is 11 months old. I wonder why anyone should buy branded shoes from you when Nike does not cover you. I would request other customers to buy shoes directly from the company as Sport chek sells poor quality products and has poorer after sales customer service when it comes to warranty. I have 4 nike shoes which I used for over 5 years without any wear and tear on them

Girlfriend and I went in looking for bike helmets not knowing a thing really about them John in the cycling department was very informed on our needs , and provided excellent advise from past experience . Walked out with two helmets and a smile on our faces !!

review date: june 15, 2022customer since: the early 1990'si have mixed feelings about sportchek overall, factoring their online and retail business operations. much of their gear is overpriced, and their sales don't discount much unless it's a clearance blowout.what annoys me about their internet website, is the sloppy item descriptions, lack of detail and lack of item pictures. given that sportchek is now owned by canadian tire, CT has an amazing website. i would think that CT would look at doing better with sportchek's site too.they do have deals and promos throughout the year, so if you keep an eye on the newspaper, internet and flyers, you can catch some decent/good deals.this review is going to pertain more towards the limeridge mall location.as i look back, i have bought quite a bit of items over the decades at this location.customer service is hit and miss, as is inventory and selection of items.on june 15/22, i was specifically looking for under armour track pants, and i was able to get what i was looking for.i would like to thank giulia and her female coworker who was wearing eyeglasses, for helping me find what i was looking for, and for being patient with my questions. also, the female cashier who was at the front desk, processing my order; she did a good job as well.i sincerely appreciate their efforts because a lot of people in retail, esp the younger generation, don't value customer service and/or don't want to work. perhaps i am old fashioned at age 48; but i expect an honest effort when i am opening my wallet, just as much as giving an honest effort when i am doing work for my boss.other: be advised, at the date of this review, that sportchek doesn't use plastic bags anymore. they do offer large fabric bags at $1.50 each, if you wish, when paying for your purchases.bottom line: i will continue to keep sportchek-limeridge in mind, when i am in the market for athletic apparel. i would recommend sportchek-limeridge to others as well. ?
