Went here a few times even before they moved to the bigger place with my kids. The "grannies" need to have their attitude/behavior checked: patronizing and condescending to a number of customers. There are way many more dissatisfied customers than what we see on Google review; hint - local social media group.Prices are WAY overpriced for stuff that people "donated." It's not a Thrift store at all. I bought a few from time to time because the kids liked it when they were little. We get it, you need to make profits to cover your rental, business expenses, etc, but with the quoted price on the spot, we might as well. we buy used stuff elsewhere for much better values. And please do not use all CAPS when you're responding to reviews here. That means you're yelling, very rude, and unprofessional.

Although this is a very interesting place to visit and although the one older man that I spoke to was very kind, I am not sure that I will go back. The place was crammed and it was hard to even find things - almost every section took digging.A small cream pitcher that I picked up was apparently priced “wrong” when I got it to the counter (it was stickered). The woman at the cash couldn’t sell it to me “because it’s a Wedgwood and it should be priced more than that”. Someone made a “mistake” when they stickered it, apparently. So that means that I can’t buy it?Given that it was common pattern of tableware from the 60’s and pieces are readily available, that the inside was stained and the matching sugar bowl was missing… I sure didn’t think that I was getting a deal or anything. I just thought it was pretty to stick some flowers in and so I picked it up. But I couldn’t buy it… because it had to be reevaluated for value. Sale lost. Trivial.I also bought a random tablecloth and the price was made up on the spot (twice what I had just paid for a comparable one at the SallyAnn). And books: although they had a $1 each sign on the shelf, were a matter of debate at the counter… I was asked “which ones”, as if some paperback craft books are more than others, if it suits them in the moment. Given how packed the bookshelves are, they should be trying to get rid of them, not make them more expensive.I didn’t debate any of the prices or try to negotiate. But the whole experience rubbed me the wrong way. I’ll stick to the SallyAnn and Value Village.

Not a thrift store. Honestly at this point just rebrand as an antique store. Nothing is priced and when I asked about a chair that was literally just tossed up on a dresser I was told $1500 cause of it being an antique. It’s disheartening really that people donate thinking it’s a thrift store when they skyrocket prices for anything remotely old. If you want to appraise things and charge $$$$ for antiques don’t call yourself a thrift/recycling store cause that’s false advertising. At the very least organize your store to keep the extremely high priced antiques in a specific area. The entire experience is just terrible cause they target the wrong audience. The store is always packed and will continue to be like that until they fix the problems cause people are just disappointed to find they can’t afford anything it feels like shopping retail prices for used items.

I went yesterday for the first time - this store is amazing and the staff are so kind :) Found some great treasures that are priced much higher elsewhere - the prices here are reasonable and fair, much better than supporting the bigger thrift stores! Can't wait to go back :)

Very Dishonest Experience.90% of the things for sale are not priced and what ever is priced it is over priced. Yesterday after digging through mountain of toys I chose some toys to bring back home including a nice plastic toy horse and a car tire inflator, she told me to try it in my car to see if it work, when I came back in I saw the horse on top of the glass stand, so I asked her that I had a horse and where is it? She said, I don’t know, I didn’t see it. I gave her the chance to come clean and say I found it on the floor or something, so acted like I didn’t see and went around to look for it three times, when I returned she had already removed it from the glass stand. The toy horse was very nice and she probably saw something good on it. I believe that everything there is for sale right and instead for her to take it, she should’ve just price it and let me decide if I wanted to buy it. I didn’t want to confront her because I stay away from arguments, but the dishonesty of the lady is very shameful.I bring toys to kids in my country, as it is a bit cheaper than buying them new. After this experience I would be more careful with her as she is very dishonest person -SHAMEFULRESPONSEI always say that it takes conscience and courage to admit wrong doing.

Good place, we pretty find everything we need when we shop here. Prices are cheapest compared to any shop. Things are not very organised but if u look for a bit, you will find what you need, else can always ask Pat for her help, she is very sweet and helpful. We go here at least once a month.

The name suits it perfectly! Ideal treasure hunt store, reasonable prices, BETTER than other thrift stores. Things are dusty but expected.

The old lady at the cash register is so crabby and always changes the price higher for items that are the same ones when I go back every couple weeks. Have someone pleasant and cheerful, and who doesn’t price gauge for items that are supposed to be sold a lot less for a charity store. She makes up these random excuses that don’t make any sense. How about some integrity and a smile. Stickers with prices should be put on rather than changing it every time. Would not waste my time at this store only because of Pat!

We are frequent customers at this store, and even though we come here often we know well in advance how wildly things are priced. It's really unbelievable how badly things are priced here. We saw a little wooden car set for a toddler, with a sticker price of $20.00.There has been one time when an item i wanted was brought up to the register and she refused to sell me the item claiming it was vintage and had to be priced. This item was just thrown somewhere when I had found it. If you try to talk some prices down she will exclaim,do you know how much this is at Costco? Everything is compared to Costco prices. I understand that the front portion of the store is basically Costco returns they purchase and resell, but to charge "Costco" prices on items they are given by donation is outrageous. We will often leave with nothing because its just too expensive at this store. The older lady, shorter lady is ok,her coworker the other lady tall is who makes up the main pricing in the store. And I have personally heard her mock a customer that was in the store to another worker who was there,I found this extremely rude. People come to stores like this to buy things cheap. But when you resell items for nearly what they may be new you really need to shake your head. I will continue going here, only because its a trip out of the house.

I have been wanting to check this place out for so long, and finally had the opportunity today! Unfortunately it was a poor experience, the woman working at the cash was quite short with us and couldn’t find a price on the only item that actually had a sticker. After we pointed out the price sticker she made a big fuss about it being the wrong price and kept “who put this sticker on here?!” Not sure if she was trying to inquire with the staff or accusing us but either way it left a bad taste. She told us we would need to pay $10 not the $3 the sticker listed for a toy that was missing parts. Needless to say we did not buy the item and won’t be coming back.

Hello Thrifters!Great place to find reasonably priced treasures ... I stop in whenever I am in Georgetown ... There are some price lists posted ... If you see something you like, take it to the front and they'll tell you the price ... Chances are you will be pleasantly surprised!
