Walked in to look for ideas for a new couch, met Ron, who spent time explaining the various couch manufacturing processes and their associated pros and cons. Very informative.
He helped us decide this is where we want our next couch to come from.
And on the way out we mentioned we were looking for a well built recliner, he showed us a chair they import from Denmark, we bought 2!
No pressure sales, just an extremely knowledgeable sales person, who took our needs and home environment, and suggested a design to meet that need.

Fredrick’s was a great experience. The gentleman who helped me was very kind and considerate. We found the perfect dresser for a good price. We were in and out of the store in 30 minutes which is amazing compared to IKEA. The delivery was on schedule and again nice people. Important is it is a well made dresser and made in Canada, jobs here are important. Overall top notch.

We have bought 3 different sofa's with Ornetta at Fredericks! She is so knowledgeable and excellent customer service! We had one slight issue with the sofa from the factory which she dealt with quickly and was resolved in a day! Would highly recommend working with Ornetta! Thank you for always taking the time to work with us!

They sold me a broken couch. Once I realized (2 months after delivery, which I was not present for) the chaise section of my $5000 sofa was broken I went into the store to discuss. It’s been over a month since i brought this to their attention and still no solution. Elaine the service rep has passed the buck onto a 3rd party. She was rude and condescending before she hung up the phone on me today. I don’t make a habit out of spending 5k on broken furniture that needs to be repaired. I’ve requested a refund and the couch to be picked up. We will see what happens. After 45 years of business they should have better customer service and product knowledge. I’ve never been so appalled by shoddy customer. This is my second purchase at the store. It’s gone downhill since 2012. I will never return.

After 3 visits to Fredericks placed a $4000 order for a recliner and what we thought was a two cushion loveseat to fit our small living room. Turns out the not so attentive salesperson ordered a 3 cushion couch which upon delivery was much too big for our living room. The couch was returned and the loveseat ordered. Even though there was about a $300 difference in price between the couch and loveseat, Fredericks refuse to refund the difference. They have repeatedly fallen back on "you signed the invoice for the couch", which it true. I guess that I was not as attentive as I should have been. Lesson learned; when dealing with Fredericks carefully check to make sure they are ordering what you want at the price posted. Mistakes are the customers fault.

This was the first time we visited Fredericks. We found th selection of furniture stellar. The aren't kidding when they say fine furniture.We had looked in other furniture stores but none could compare to Fredericks. Their selection is very high quality and price competitive for high quality furniture. The service we received was also top notch, friendly ,helpful and unlike other places we were not trailed and hounded to buy things we were not really keen on. We were left to browse and they would provide guidance when we required it. We told them we needed to make a choice so we'd go off to lunch and decide. We did, we telephoned them advising them of you decision on what we were buying and we went back to the store and completed our purchase. Although their delivery can take weeks we explained that we had a gues arriving from Brazil and could they deliver on or before that date which is Sept 23. They went out of their way to ensure that we would receive our items within the next week or 2.We recommend this store without reservations to anyone looking for top quality furniture.
