We attended a wedding at the Elora Mill and rented the suite above the gallery for two nights over the weekend. We informed them this was for a bridal party and they had no issues with that. The first night we had a great time with zero complaints from John.
Late at night following the wedding, a small group of us including the Bride and Groom returned to the suite to chat and laugh about the great time we all had while we begin to tidy up. John rudely entered the suite without consent to tell us we all needed to leave the suite because it was late although we had rented the space for the night.
He then returned with an OPP officer to saying we must leave and again just entered the suite without consent. The OPP officer was rolling her eyes as she was telling us we need to leave because she walked into us just sitting in the living room having a few laughs. This is clearly something that takes place often with these owners.
In addition, on the Saturday (day of the wedding) John was constantly nagging us to clear out recycling. We told him we would take care of it when we had time but he was upset with that response. When we returned for the night, we noticed someone had entered the suite while we were out as things were moved / removed from the space (I.e, Bluetooth speaker), patio furniture was covered and the fire table was closed down.
It’s as if they were kicking us out a day early.
It’s really unfortunate this had to happen as it’s a beautiful property and we really enjoyed the first night. If you are looking for a relaxing space without being “watched”, this is not the place.

Karger gallery is an explosion of the senses with the most tastefully selelected & crafted offerings from exquisite linens & prima cotton garments to the most coveted furniture & home decor items . Textures & color abounds taking you far away to the homelands of the makers. Highly recommend.

This is the most beautiful and unique store in Elora. Melissa was a great help! She is very knowledgeable, helpful and has great customer service skills . I would highly recommend that everyone stop by to check it out on their next visit to Elora.
