Extremely overpriced. Even on sale the 750ml chocolate milk was 50% more expensive than walmart. 200 grams of potato wedges were over 5$! Bbq chicken breast had a funky taste. Today will be the last time i go there for a hot lunch. Nearly 14$ for the lunch. You can go to checkerboard in kitchener and get a full breakfast 2 eggs, 3 pieces of canadian bacon, hashbrowns and 2 slices of toast for less(including 15% tip) and its way better.

This is our local Sobeys Store. They had a great sale on sirloin tip roast. I went on Friday night to purchase a roast and requested a butcher slice it up so I could make some beef jerky for my family. A nice employee had said, “ all butchers have went home for the night , come back tomorrow and we will make sure we can fulfill that request “.Sure enough , she was right. Not too often to grocery stores go above and beyond like this! Hats off to the friendly detailed butcher on making a very detailed cut of the roast!

A little pricey. The employees are not very amiable. They have made certain billing adjustments that make things a little more difficult and time-consuming. Plenty of merchandise and ample parking.

$2.29+ for one can of evaporated milk. Prove to us this is due to the milk supply. I mean, are dairy cows on strike? Or in late covid lockdown?

I was in the store today and watched a supervisor named Janice loudly berate a poor girl about a task she was not supposed to be doing. She continued her rant in front of many other employees (one who stood up to her) and customers, well past beyond just addressing the issue. Not only that, but she highly micromanaged the other cashiers as well. To be treated so poorly by someone who is supposed to be there to support you is an embarrassment to the company and damaging to staff culture. Janice should be completely ashamed of how she treats others - this is not leadership.

EDIT- I’m really disappointed with the whole floral section being taken away. I used to go here probably every other day to look at the plants and purchase something.The last time I went they were lacking. Dying and had bugs… complete opposite of what it was when I made my review 2 years ago. I feel bed for the florist Ruth.. she had a beautiful set up!!~Been going to this grocery store for as long as I can remember. They have the best produce and a wonderful plant section. I do wish they had more pharmacy type stuff, but there is a shoppers in the plaza.

I have been a customer since the store opened. recently bought rotten potatoes and Complements meat pies which had two pieces of carrot and a tiny piece of chicken within…never ever have we seen such poor quality. I should also mention that this company does not list ingredients for products online.
