Big city store with a personable, small town feeling. Happened into this store last summer and immediately I recognized the welcoming nature of the owner, the value this store has in this neighbourhood, and how it is a regular stop for many, many regular customers. Luay knows most people by name and typically knows what you have come in for. He is personable and makes your visit more than just a stop for your lottery ticket, cigarettes and/or home necessities. He asks how you are doing and offers an opportunity to have a friendly chat. Everyone needs that. And he has even provided a very A+ recommendation for a nearby trustworthy mechanic, and I think he has someone who can do your taxes too! Always very personable and down to earth, and it is a pleasure to drop in!
