Ok, these guys are so awesome, they took care of my baby when she was down. Kevin was a true relief and in complete contact during the day they overhauled my 4x4 on my 09 Silverado. Thanks for all you guys did Kevin. You will always have my business.

This place is awesome. They are consistently busy because they do such a great job. They lay it out for you what is actually going on and don't try to do any funny business. They want you to get the most from your vehicle in the long run.

Traveling between Michigan and Arizona, our vehicle overheated. Brian at Kevin's Automotive when above and beyond to get back on the road the same day. Excellent mechanic and a delightful person!

I picked up my grandpas old 80’s model Jeep to get worked on. He let it sit for a while in his barn because he didn’t know how to fix it. So I went and loaded it up on my trailer to have fixed for him. Kevins Automotive was recommended to me by a neighbor. I looked into it and saw he was a Marine Veteran, I am a Veteran also so I was automatically interested. I would much rather give my money to a small business, over a big “corporate” style shop. I took the Jeep in and spoke with Kevin about it. I told him that it had been sitting forever and would probably need a tune-up and carb rebuild kit. And I was wanting to make sure the fuel pump and lines were all good. He told me they would look at it within the week and get back to me, letting me know what they found out before they started any work. I said ok, great. And left the Jeep with him. A week goes by and I haven’t heard anything so I give him a call, he tells me that they have been busy and are just now getting to it (completely understandable) and he would give me a call the next day to let me know what they found out. I said ok thank you. He calls me the next day and tells me that the work will need to be done in a couple phases because he needs it to be running in order to fully diagnose the issues I was asking about. I said ok, what are we talking about? He says he needs to do a full tune-up (plugs, wires, distributor cap, rotor, and carb rebuild) in order to diagnose the Jeep. Like I said in the beginning I knew it needed those things so I asked how much it would be. He tells me $619. I tell him that I will need to call him back and let him know if I want to proceed with the work. I call around and check prices for all the parts that were needed for the tune-up. I got 3 different quotes, with the highest being $140. So I call him back and tell him I called around to find prices on parts and I dont see how a simple tune-up on an 80’s model jeep requires $500 in labor. He says that I am more than welcome to come pick the Jeep up and do the work myself, but that its going to be $102.50 “diagnostic fee”. Even though there was no diagnostic work done. We both talked about it needing a tune-up when I dropped off the Jeep, he couldn’t tell me what/if anything else was wrong with the jeep because as he stated on the phone, “it needed to be able to run before he could diagnose what’s wrong with it” So because I wasn’t going to pay $500 labor for a 2 hour (at best) job, he decides to stick me with a “diagnostic fee” for doing absolutely nothing. I read all the reviews on this place, and coupled with the fact he is a Veteran, I expected this to be a place of Integrity. I was sadly mistaken. Maybe they just didn’t want to work on an old Jeep, which is fine, but tell me that in the beginning. Dont hike the price way up and try to make a quick $100 when I turn down the unusually high price. After I got the Jeep back home, I opened the hood to do the work myself, only to find they didn’t even put the Jeep back together before I picked it up. The air cleaner lid was just laying on top of the air filter with nothing holding it down. Pretty sub-par professionalism if you ask me. Would not recommend this place, and they will get no further business from me.
