“There was a super nice young man as the cashier and he was having a rough day.... Computer issues or something, but it happens so no worries on our end. Please let that gentlemen know he was absolutely wonderful and kind! We need more like that! We were in there at about 11am 02/09/24 picking up some dog food, sunglasses and a couple packs of smokes. The manager seemed a bit harsh on the young man, but not rude or anything. We all have rough days and we really really appreciated him! “I just got home from Dollar General. I wanted to let others know that if you shop at any Dollar General's clearance aisle and want to know a price you have to download their app. ?? I know it says "priced as marked" but it NEVER is! Trust me I did NOT want another f#€cking app either! But I've learned that it's the ONLY way to find out the price without dealing with the eye rolls of the cashier's”
“Then make sure everything is stopped and everything goes in it spot where it needs to go they also help you with an item you may need help with they make sure everything sanitized put and it's proper place and they make sure nothing is cluttered and the workers are really friendly and nice and they respect your personal space and they make sure and ask you how you're doing”

“As far as DG's go, it's a normal DG. However, I'm giving this one a 5-star review for being exceptional! During the Peach Festival we needed a place to cool off, for me (I'm old okay! LOL), the babies (we had a 6-month-old) and our furbabies (she's an 11-year-old Husky, they belong in Alaska! Haha). We went to the very back corner of the store, found a place completely out of the way of customers, and we cooled off for about 25 minutes. In that time, we didn't have any employees harass us, tell us to leave, etc. In fact, the one employee that did say anything was very polite and well-mannered! Thank you, DG, for allowing us to cool off! It means the world to me, and it earned you a customer because I will bring my business to the DG near me now.”
