Unbelievable. I was a real fan of the store. I have purchased some nice things here. Today, I tried to return or exchange a king sized tensel Crescent quilt (one of their current bedding products, not a sale item). It's been 2 months since I bought it to take home and try with our color scheme. It does not work.
I am seldom on this side of town, so I was waiting until I was on the north side to return it.
I was told that it cannot be returned because it is outside the 30 day return window which is printed on the receipt. That is my fault. I had not read the receipt - my bad. Naturally, I assumed I would be offered a store credit or that I could exchange it for the same item in a different color.
They would not exchange the item for the same exact item in a different color that I might be able to use. This item is in current stock in the store. The item I purchased has not even been taken out of the package! They would not even consider exchanging it.
I'm afraid they have lost me as a customer. I expect better customer service from a store like this. This is unnecessarily rigid and they have unnecessarily lost me as a customer.

The store manager closes the store early. If you want to buy furniture in the last 45 min before the store closes she will make you feel rushed. Being a senior the store manager is ready to go home and sneak out early.

Rude rude rude. The rudest staff ever. Would love to visit this store but the staff is never friendly or very accommodating.

Rude— employees never greeted us and promptly 7 on the dot said, “excuse me we’re closed.” I don’t expect employees to wait well after closing but the attitude was unnecessary.I’ll take my business elsewhere.

We used to really like West Elm. So much that we spent 6k on a sofa from them that has turned out to be garbage. It is less than 2 years old and has developed issues it should not have after such a short period of time. This thing gets light use and it squeaks like crazy. The bigger issue is that the batting in the cushions has gone weird and lumpy and West Elm won't do a thing about it, not even offer to SELL us something to fix it. Their phone service rep was rude and unhelpful. Their social media management was equally useless. Given that they don't seem to care at all, we are done with them. The stuff looks nice, but it is clearly built very poorly. A sofa that costs as much as a used car should last more than 20 months before starting to fall apart.

After owning the Haven Loft Sectional for two years, I'm so disappointed in the quality of this $4500 sofa. The cushions have an internal zipper compartment filled with batting that goes around the foam, and the battling has started to shift and clump, making the sofa lumpy, uncomfortable and unattractive. After one year, I had to buy additional filling for all of the back cushions. For the amount of money it costs and the three-month wait for it to arrive, I would not recommend their furniture to anyone. I have contacted West Elm and they refuse to remedy this situation. I will no longer be a West Elm customer.

Sales staff is the rudest group of people we had seen in a retail store.

My experience with the local OKC store was fine. My issue is with corporate. I placed a special order on January 15, 2023 that doesn’t deliver until August 23, 2023. When I called to cancel they said it was too late. Really???

The people who work here are RUDE RUDE RUDE and incompetent to do their job. Two of them wouldn’t leave behind the counter and when I asked about a candle they acted like I was stupid for asking. The lady who helped me was nice UNTIL I hesitated on buying a table because of the high shipping cost. Almost every store in the world will ship for free when you are spending a good amount of money. When I second guessed purchasing she acted so insanely put out and I felt pressured to buy it. Now I’m out the money and with no product. It was going to delivered in march and now it’s pushed back to mid June. Why run a store if you can’t even give customers your merchandise? Absolutely disappointed in this company as a whole.Edit: after reading other reviews it seems customer service at this location has been an issue for 5 years at least. West Elm, why not fix the issue?

Lots of natural lighting that makes the store look and feel nice. Staff left me alone so I could browse in peace without me needing to ask; only greeted me and said goodbye and were friendly and quick to help when I approached them. Knew a lot about their products and which fabrics to recommend or not. Only wish it was bigger so I could see even more collections in person.

Wish I could give zero stars. Worst in-store customer service. Came to look at ordering a custom sectional. The girl and guy working were not friendly or helpful at all. Immediately left and will take my business elsewhere.

So disappointed. Finally found a couch that I wanted! Purchased on 10/7/22 with estimated delivery of 10/21/22. Had thought about custom material but was told that would be 5 weeks to be delivered. Decided to stick with what was available. When I tracked the order, it showed "in transit to store" with estimated pickup of 10/21-11/9. Ok...was hoping to get sooner, but I could live with that. Decided I should call customer service to confirm. Come to find out, the order hadn't left fulfillment, meaning it hasn't even left the warehouse which is overseas. Now the website is saying estimated pick up 11/7-11/28. So, who knows when, or if, I will receive. Guess it's good to find out about shipping issues with West Elm before I moved onto bedroom furniture replacement.

Whatever you do, do not deal with Tracie there, not only she has negligible computer skills, she also is rude and short. It took her so long to find the chair online and I waited patiently but when I asked her if the delivery time is the same whether I order from the store online or online at home, she started lecturing me about community service and how it will help the community if I order the chairs online through her and not from my computer at home.
First of all I do not need lectures and secondly with her computer skills I do not trust that I have the right details in there.
I asked her to show me a stool that was stacked high and she kept showing me 3 other stools pretending that they are exactly the same so that she does not have to bother taking that one down.
I am a regular customer at that store but will not go again after that experience. Might as well order online rather than dealing with impolite and arrogant people with little or no customer service.
