I really liked the selection in this place, but I super duper, dislike how the service is set up. It feels like a used car dealership, and it made us all want to leave quickly. Basically, when we walked around, we constantly had a person trailing behind us by a few feet, asking if we wanted to see something....after saying we were just looking, it became questions about what type we wanted, what style, etc... even after trying to brush away so that we could just check things out, a minute later, we are getting asked questions again. It's a large shoe store, and it felt like we couldn't even talk because someone was right there at all times.
My wife and I wear Brooks and my kids wear Hooka, so it felt like a dream to see multiple selections for both brands at the store, but since it felt like a car lot the whole time, it made us all leave quickly.
Honestly, I don't think we will ever go back because we are not a fan of this kind of "service."

I had great experience at Browns shoe fit today. I live in Edmond but since Browns had the brooks I was looking for , I decided to give them a shot. And it was a good decision. Steve was knowledgeable and had a really good personality, Browns shoe fit is my new spot to purchase my shoes. So if you read this review do yourself a favor and support Browns shoe fit.

Expensive, but 100% WORTH it. I was feeling foot pain every step of my day working in retail. The person at Browns had me stand on a machine that told them about my feet. Asked me questions to find out what I needed. Hooked me up with a pair of Hoka Bondis and some additional superfeet shoe insoles. All this in less than fifteen minutes, and I could walk daily without pain from then on. They were respectful and kind. Didn't do any annoying salesman stuff, just took me to what I asked for, and made it happen. I highly recommend this place. When I went there I did not expect it to work. I thought the machine was probably just for show, and that the employees probably were just going to try to sell sell sell. Instead what happened was that they solved my problem and got me what I needed.

Great helpful and knowledgeable staff. We buy all our shoes here. Good shoes are pricey but worth it for our feet!

Lies about return policy. Claims to accept returns for up to 30 days, but when I tried to return an undamaged item 3 days after purchasing it, they told me that the best they could do is offer me half in store credit for them. Terrible people with terrible ethics.

I saw some shoes, that Mr. John Lassiter was wearing & they looked amazing. I then asked were he bought them. He informed me he purchased them here & he highly recommended them. So I got some & they are amazing. I highly recommend this business & they’re amazing people. I will definitely continue to shop here!!!!

Besides the EXCELLENT service, Brown's Shoes off Main Street in Norman, OK has a great selection of the most popular & trending footwear.It's worth the hour drive every time I need a new pair of shoes!
