Gary showed us several homes in the Newkirk area. Each time we met to look at a house, he seemed to not know who we were and that he had shown us multiple homes. We found a home we wanted to buy that was listed with his company. Because it seemed he had some memory issues, we asked another real estate agent to represent us. We negotiated a price $7,500 cheaper than was listed and signed a contract for a conventional loan. Unfortunately, because of the housing market, rates were astronomical and we could only get an FHA loan. They would only sign a contract for the FHA loan if we agreed to sign a contract saying they could continue to show the home. We were selling our home at the time and Gary said that selling our home had already fallen through one time (again, demonstrating what appeared to be some memory issues) and this is why he wanted to be able to continue showing the home. A few days prior to closing on our home and a week from closing on the home we had contracted through Gary, we were notified that Gary and the seller accepted a contract from a different buyer. We were left scrambling to find a new home in a short amount of time. I wasn't going to leave a review - but after speaking with a coworker, I found out he had done something similar to them. I want future buyers to be aware if you negotiate the price down, there may end up being a possibility that if someone comes along and offers more money, even when you are under contract, they will sign a contract with the new buyer and want out of the one with you.

Mr Bilger had an add online to rent out a property for $1000 a month. When I called he knew I was going to be filming in Newkirk and he jacked the price up to $5000 a month. He is a crook.
