We bought a new car from here and were left with many false promises. This place seems to be filled with chaos and I have seen many staff members in and out of here off to different companies. First we were given an estimate that apparently did not exist from a salesman (We found this out on the final day of the sale). We were also promised environmental fixes such as scuffs and scratches that were free of charge. Turns out that was just another lie that got us to pay for the Hodge Package! Don't be fooled by these people. They may not all be liars but there sure are a few snakes around there.

Bought the car and supposed to get free oil changes for life of the car. Toyota recommends every 5k miles but Toyota of muskogee is saying every 10k miles. Sounds shady to me.

We live an hour and a half away and I have been looking for a truck for a few months. I decided I liked a truck at James Hodge Toyota Stock#P08542. I came in on Saturday 8/26/23 and when I pulled up to the lot I tried to look in the truck to see if I was even interested. All the doors were locked so I drove my vehicle to the store and when I got out I was greeted by 2 sales guys in red shirts. It was rather intimidating as I wasn't sure which one I was supposed to be dealing with. They the younger one (without) the beard was by far the nicest one. The guy with the scruffy dark beard was an arrogant buffoon. I test drove the truck with the younger friendlier guy (thank God). When we got back and walked into the building it sounded like I had entered a night club with VERY loud pounding rap and Spanish rap music. It was so loud I couldn't think or hear my wife when she was talking. I asked the sales guy what the price of the truck was (I already knew, because I did my homework before I got to the dealership). The sales guy with the scruffy beard and arrogant attitude took over the conversation and told me he didn't know the price and asked me "how much are you wanting to pay for the truck?" I was stunned by his answer and his question. I told him I would like to know the price because the friendlier guy told him he thought it was in the low $30,000's but the arrogant buffoon stated no its not and the price could be lower so we need a stock sheet. After about 6-8 minutes later he came back with 2 stock sheets, one for the truck I was looking at (and was prepared to purchase) and the other for another truck about 15 thousand more and that I had not asked about. After he got the stock sheets I again asked him what the price was, he stated "they don't give us the price, I know its stupid but they don't give us the price". I told him that this was absurd and did not make sense. I again stated I want to know hoe much the truck is, he then stated it was around the lower to mid 30s. lol I pressed further and he said it is 33,000-34,000 and maybe 35,000. I giggled inside because I realized what a complete imbecile he was and that he had no idea what he was doing. Then he showed me the stock sheet and said "brand new this truck cost this amount" and he pointed to a number. I was not impressed and told him, I am NOT buying this truck brand new and so the new price means nothing to me, again I asked, "what is the price of this truck?" He said "well I am not sure but probably around $35,000. At this point I was DONE wasting my time. I looked at him and told him I knew the price of the truck the whole time and that I was VERY turned off by his lack of knowledge and approach and at that point we got up and walked out. What he doesn't realize is I drove that far to purchase. My experience at JH Toyota was like none I have EVER had in my many times of purchasing a vehicle. Whoever screens these people for careers in sales needs to be fired first and second this scruffy looking sales dude needs to be a close second. Third the manager who allows this place to be run like a disco or night club needs to be educated on the professional environment of an auto dealer. Yes, I think being fun and energetic is GREAT and your sales people should have a personality to be successful, but cranking the music up to a decibel that you cannot hear to do business only runs people off. There are too many Toyota dealers within close proximity to Muskogee without having to deal with this place. And by the way, I would have posted the 2 guys names, but neither introduced themselves much less gave a name.

Had some things taken out of my truck in the service department but didn't realize it until I got home. Contacted them and they tried to act like nothing happened and obviously I can't prove anything. I've had multiple bad experiences with this dealership. I'd give your business to a different dealership.

Extreme slackers working in the financial department, not willing to assist their paying customers or solve problems they've created. Definitely not upholding whatever mission/value James Hodge Toyota has.
