Buyer beware! Highest lumber prices in Eastern Oklahoma. Shop around! I made the mistake of not shopping around and it ended up costing me thousands. I have bought lumber for many homes and purchased lumber at multiple suppliers without any issues or prices this high. I have many more houses in the works in Eastern Oklahoma but I will be taking my business to another supplier in Eufaula who has been very easy to work with and I am very happy. Hughes will not work with you and will not return calls.

We built a home 4 years ago and ordered all of our materials from Hughes at that time. We recently decided to add on to our home and needed to order windows that matched from when we first built. With the assistance of Gary and Matilda, I was able to get everything we needed. I made the transaction over the phone and everything was great until I discovered that I had ordered the wrong sized windows! I immediately called and spoke with Matilda who not only corrected my mistake but didn't even charge me additional fees for the changes. Customer service is great! Highly recommend!

We started our house one year ago. They have consistently ordered the wrong items: wrong trim, wrong doors. Our windows are coming apart and we haven’t even moved it. They do not return phone calls. It takes them forever to deliver your product and it’s usually wrong. Just ordered shiplap and they sent out knotty pine shiplap. When we told them it was wrong that we planned to paint it. They said well you can just paint this. No! Very unprofessional.

My husband and I went to look at siding, trim and wood for our fireplace mantle. We were greeted and waited on by the manager himself! A servanthood attitude. Great customer service, friendly staff and very accommodating. Hometown feel. Thanks Hughes Lumber!
